Where Nature Comes to Life

Parrot Stars is so much more than a pet shop. Located in the heart of Arlington Heights, Illinois, our mission is to enhance aviculture through education, nutrition, conservation and a mutual love for birds.

Education: In addition to a safe and welcoming store front, we have a dedicated classroom where we will host education programs for anyone who wants to learn more about the care and management of birds. These seminars will feature avian experts in the fields of conservation, medicine, nutrition, behavior and more, all in an effort to promote successful companionship with your feathered friend. At Parrot Stars, we strive to support you by answering your questions and providing tips to help you better manage your pets. We are here to support you and your companion birds in any way we can. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

Nutrition: Variety is key! In the past, it wasn’t clear as to what the diet of wild parrots, toucans, and other commonly kept birds consisted. As time has passed, we have started to better understand what an avian diet should look like, and natural whole foods are the best! Our goal is to help bird owners consistently move towards highly diverse whole food diets. More information about nutrition will be available on our website, which we will be launching soon!
