🐾 The Best Age to Train Your Dog! 🐾

Are you wondering when to start training your furry friend? The golden window for training is between 2 to 6 months! 🐶✨

During this time, pups are like sponges, soaking up everything they learn. It’s the perfect age for socialization, basic commands, and establishing good habits that will last a lifetime.

However, training older dogs (5+ years) can be more challenging. With a longer reinforcement history, they may have ingrained behaviors that are tough to change. Patience and consistency are key!

Remember, it’s never too late to train, but starting young gives your pup the best chance for success. Happy training! 💪❤️

Happy international dog day!

Whiskey was the dog that taught me patience, and forced me to understand dogs to a better degree. Couldn’t be the trainer I am now without her.

Batley is the most troublesome dog I own, but has been instrumental in understanding how genetics unchecked and unfulfilled at an early age can create a whole bunch of problems. That being said, I love the guy and as antisocial as he is-he chooses to cuddle with me on the couch, and completely ignore his mom 😂

Chai is by far the sweetest dog. Always wanting to be with someone, and has the best temperament out of the 3.

Genetics+nurture+training= the best version of your dog you can have. The relationship you have with your dog is everything.
