Happy Birthday to our 2022 pups! I’m a little late, their birthday was the 8th 😂 We hope everyone is doing wonderful in their homes and is growing up great ❤️ Alruna has already been camping, is becoming the referee of our house, and loves snuggles. Thisbe loves playing outside, making new friends, and thinks the best cuddles are when she gets to be your pillow 😂

Our last puppies went to their new fur-ever homes over the weekend! We are so excited for them and the adventures that await them and their new families!

We will not be posting as often on our page now. We will still check that page though so if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out!

We decided to keep one girl from our litter to breed in the future. We will probably not breed again before she’s old enough so we will not have another litter for at least a few years.

Thank you to everyone for helping us find the best homes for the pups!

Hello, we are Koeppen Ranch Elkhounds! We love these dogs and our primary focus is to advocate and educate people about this unique breed. To do this we are breeding for health and temperament first. We are also looking to the Norwegian breed standards to stay true to the heritage of the breed. We believe these viking dogs are a really cool part of history and we hope we can share them with you!
