One year ago today Highlander came to CHATS from Maryland! We can't wait for him to come home again! He is in the best hands with Equestrian Chaos being trained to serve our community. #equinetherapy
This is a video of Cole doing schooling earlier this week. Cole had just answered a round of these questions prior to recording and had gotten them all correct. He was starting to get irritated at this point but caught his smartness on video!

πWelcome Layla!! We are happy to have you with us the next 6 weeks.
πOur very own, Linda Roos, who just retired from being a special education teacher for over 30 years and been a tribe member with CHATS for the past 3 years, started volunteering with the Community Knights, Inc. as a site trainer for the students.
πLayla loves horses and being outdoors. What a perfect match for she and Linda to be together learning valuable job skills at CHATS!
Linda rocks!

Cole killing it this morning with fractions!! We are using approaches he would enjoy the most to learn in his classroom at the barn....horse hooves and nature surrounding him. It has taken years of hard work to be able to get him focused on tasks for more than 2 seconds! We try to do some work in the classroom as we have been able to build on his ability to focus through Movement Method.
