One of the most rewarding parts of what we do is giving back to the amazing organizations on the front lines, supporting animals in need. Thanks to your support, we were able to donate $1,500 to Asheville Humane Society in North Carolina by giving back a percentage of our October sales. Below is just a small look at the efforts their team has made, more information about their hard work can be found at Asheville Humane Society.

When Hurricane Helene hit, the Asheville Humane Society team went above and beyond, staying at the shelter for days—at times with no running water—while facing their own personal losses. Some lost their homes, belongings, and more, but they never stopped showing up for the animals who needed them.

Beyond sheltering, they also distributed over 10,000 pounds of pet food and supplies, ensuring pets and families had what they needed when they needed it the most. Their Community Outreach Team has been on the ground, providing food, water, and medical care to pets and pet parents affected.

As echoed in many of their posts, the Asheville Humane Society isn’t just a shelter, it’s a community. We’re proud to support their mission and help them continue making a difference 💙

As an office full of dog lovers, receiving customer pictures of pups feeling safe and secure in their crates is always the highlight of our day. The stories that accompany the photos can be even more impactful, like the one below we received from Renee (Pawsitive Motion Dog Training) after she and her dog experienced some terrible storms and tornado warnings in their area. Thank you Renee for taking the time to share your experience with us, and we are so happy to hear that you and Shelby were both safe from the extreme weather 🐾

“I just upgraded my dog’s crate & received it yesterday. As far as sizing, I was on the fence between a med & lg. I went with the lg because I have German Shepherd who is 39” from her neck to her tail & 31” tall, with her radar ears. It took me some time to put it together because I’m 5’1” & by myself, but I did it.
Today, there were 3 rounds of massive storms in my area. I prepped this morning for the moderate risk of tornados. During round 3, the sirens went off for several minutes.

During this time, I pulled the crate to my “safe” spot, clipped my backpack to the handle with a carabiner, put my dog in along with her harness/side pouches, my sling bag, a pillow & *myself*. The pillow was behind my back for protection, while I sat upright, with my legs slightly bent. She laid down with the upper 1/2 of her body on my legs. It was cozy, but safe. I even sat on it last night to test the stability.
Since I had a few minutes to kill, I inspected the crate. I didn’t find sharp edges or corners. The screws from the outside are exposed, but no sharp edges & the placement seems to be very safe from any injury to a dog (or me...lol). I pushed against the sides & there was a *very* slight amount of play between the side rails & walls, but nothing to concern over.

Now that I’ve truly tested the sizing & durability, I know this is the right choice for home use. I will definitely be recommending your crates. The quality is there at a much better price!”
