Want to make new friends and hang out this summer! Bravo has boarding weeks open this week and July. We only board a few dogs each week and we have plenty of outside space to play. A/C cooled kennels, experienced dog owner on site.

This little guy was so much fun to work with and he did very well in the two weeks he stayed with us in training.
In the set of pictures he was watching a turkey buzzard fly over. Very apt for Buzz!

If you have a new puppy we have room at Puppy Camp this summer.
Don’t forget to get your Furbaby into a camp for a week or two so they can enjoy their time while you are away or working.
They can learn new things and enjoy the summer with walking off leash, playing with new friends, pool time, sit- stay games, fetch and hanging out under the shade of a tree. It’s a dogs life on the farm. Puppy Camp special prices May - August.

What do dog owners do when they travel? Well, I have to hire a very good pet sitter/farm sitter who is a responsible adult as I have many sweet fur members who do not get to travel with me.

You can travel with ease if you want to board your dog with Bravo as I know how owners fret, ask my pet sitter!

Wire-haired dachshund with red the most popular color.
Described as loyal, determined, playful, stubborn and obeys 50% of commands (which means 50% are not obeyed) Monty is simply the best little dog ever.

Our dog of the day today is Bell.
Bok Bellissimo Rosso Serenity Labs
Is her full name and often the dogs have very long names.

Bell was bred from outside our kennel (Brunt Oak Kennel) which is where the BOK comes from and the Bell is her kennel or common name. She is a beautiful red.
She will one day hopefully be a mother to a litter of puppies as I think she has some fantastic qualities and has passed all her health tests.

AKC Labrador Retriever and her color is registered yellow but referred to as fox red. Such a deep lovely red.

For now, she just loves to have her picture taken. I get out my phone and she smiles!

So, today you get to meet Buttons.
She has been the mother to many of the puppies that some of you know. She has been an excellent mother and can produce every color (if the right baby dad is with her) in one litter !
She has retired now along with me so we can focus on our hobbies! She runs for the ball and I throw it for her!

I thought I would introduce you to my dogs and tell you about them.
Brag a little about each one.
I loved the yellows first and we brought our first yellow lab, Isaac with us from Scotland in 2003. I never had any of his offspring but he did sire a few in the neighborhood I heard. 🐶

This is Dougal born 2014 from Rosie who was the most wonderful yellow Labrador girl ever. She would play ball for hours and was my shadow for years. I miss her every day still.
Pictured below is Dougal and his father Winston. He is very noble looking and made an excellent sire to Dougal.
Dougal has handed down many of his fine traits to his offspring.

Had the pleasure of this young pup for a weeks training. He was pure joy and we had a great time.
He learned a lot in a short space of time, played a lot and most of all was a puppy doing puppy stuff.

Yes, my rainbow is of every color of LAB or at least every color of lab I have at my kennel. Cold, wet day so a couple games of fetch and back to the warm beds we went.

Mac loves to stay warm and wear his cute jackets. Being a min pin who is 16 years old means you get have your bed and blanket just where you want it. Don’t worry we keep an eye on him at all times.

Does it sound crazy to meet up to go for walks with other dog friends? Yes, I know about the flu/kc going around and my dogs are all current on vaccines and we can all be careful.
Just would be nice to meet other dog walking people and do a weekly walk at a safe distance.
If you are interested let me know as there are some nice big open parks in western loudoun that are free and beautiful.

Puppy Bravo - dog boarding and training.

Now that the holidays over and we all back to work and school maybe its time for the puppy to go to work or school!

Puppies need to be trained to do the right thing or they are being trained to do the wrong thing.

Basic training includes greetings, so not jumping up on you. Coming to their name which is recall and of course a good sit is so nice to have in a puppy.
Our basic training includes 10 basic requests and commands that are repeated in daily sessions on top of the puppy home skills of normal life.

Once he was recalled he came to sit as if to say ‘didn’t you hear that sound too?’

Training your 8 month old pup is such a joy and the rewards are so big.
