Urgent foster needed. See notes below from the shelter. We could tag with committed foster. Foster needs to be in the DFW area. This guy is terrified after loosing his family and ending up in the shelter. He’s acting out as anyone would. If you can foster please let us know.

URGENT RESCUE ONLY GREAT DANE.
Smoke is a little over a year old and was surrendered on 7/31 due to moving. Owner has had him since he was a puppy. He lived with an adult woman who said he was friendly with her five grandkids when they came over. Owner said housetrained, crate trained and has never been around other dogs or cats. Knows the command to sit and walks on a leash. He is terrified at the shelter and was very skittish at intake. Attempted to bite male intake officer multiple times while vaccinating. Two days later a female officer was able to leash walk this morning by going slow and lassoing him. He was very nervous and skittish once outside and she wasn't really able to touch him without him flinching outside. Once back inside she hung out in the hallway for a bit while his kennel was finishing being cleaned. She squatted on his level and he began to become more friendly and receptive of pets and actually gave kisses and was loving. When placing him back in the kennel he acted scared a little and wouldn't allow her to go over his head to remove the leash. Said he gave warning snaps but not aggressively and almost like play. She was able to go under and grab it but ultimately had to use a hook to remove leash. He is really scared and possibly anxious. On 8/9 another female officer said that he gets the zoomies when she trys to give his ear meds. Said he doesn't like it and wiggles and will get mouthy but doesn't bite down. Said very big puppy with no manners but has never been aggressive with her. On 8/11 a male officer tried to medicate his ears and Smoke cowered in the corner. The female officer came in and he got the zoomies and was happily jumping on her. Today a female kennel attendant said he attempted to bite her when taking off the leash.

Hopper has the personality of a firecracker! He's constantly hopping around, which makes him resemble a rabbit with having NO tail. He's the spiciest of the bunch, bullying his siblings, pushing them around, and showing them who's boss. But when he winds down all he truly wants is to snuggle up to you! (Bobtail)

Antoine, the foster’s favorite, is an absolute sweety who will look you in the eyes and watch your every move. He wants to be right beside you wherever you're headed! He's the second biggest but knows when to be gentle, and he's got the absolute most adorable eyebrows.

Buzzby, the runt of the litter, zooms around like a bumble bee. He doesn't know where he's headed, but he goes with a burst of energy that's explosive despite how tiny he is. While he may be the smallest, don't let that fool you into thinking he's a pushover. He stands his own against his siblings and makes sure they know he isn't messing around! (Bobtail)

Beetle is an absolute adorable little baby who is calm, collected, and likes to observe. He hobbles around exploring his surroundings intently with his nose to the ground. When you watch him he looks like a little bear with his tiny little nub of a tail. But once he finds something exciting, he'll get the zoomies and knock everyone down! (Bobtail)

Webber is the big chonker of the group with a sizable difference between him and his siblings. He is a glutton, not knowing when to stop eating, and he is also the most adventurous and confident out of the litter. He shows no fear and will explore an entire home on his own, only to come back to eat until he passes out.

Ladybird is the only girl and was the FIRST to pop out before her 5 brothers. She is the spitting image of her mother and even has her same timid tendencies. She's quite a little nervous girl and needs a little help getting over some new hurdles, but once she's gained her confidence her spark comes to life. She wrestles with the boys and absolutely LOVES to shake her stuffies.

Murphy is a Maltipoo mix who is 3 yrs old and weighs about 25 lbs. He is neutered. he gets along well with other dogs and is generally a Good boy. His foster is working with him on crate and house training. And is also teaching him some basic commands like “sit”

🎶Chirp chirp🎶 That's the sound I make when I'm having the time of my life!! Kinda like a Cricket 🦗 if you know what I mean 😉

I'm a beautiful medium sized girl at around ~40ish pounds and I only come up to your knees! I'm dainty and polite with how I handle myself around people and animals (even cats!). I'm potty trained (unless I have too many treats to eat), crate trained, and walk well on a leash. I may be a little bit shy at first, but throw me a couple treats and I will love you forever. My favorite things are bull pizzles and other natural chews (nothing small enough for me to swallow whole bc I will choke on it 😵‍💫). I'll even tolerate a nail clipping if you take it slow, and I do love a good walk. My favorite activities include fetch, cuddling with my person, and eating snacks! I'm still working on learning commands, but I do know how to sit and lay down if you have treats. Other animals don't bother me too much as long as they aren't too rowdy, and I honestly like my cat foster siblings more than my current dog foster siblings 🙄.

Please consider fostering or adopting me! I am the perfect companion for someone who wants a pup who's flexible, a foodie, an occasional fetch artist, and a cuddle buddy for life.

Meet Dante!

Dante is a 4 year old male 20 pound non- shedding poodle mix. He is a complete love bug that does great with other dogs and children (not sure about cats) Fully potty trained, loves to go on walks, sleeps in a crate at night, can sit (foster teaching stay and leave it)loves treats and chew toys. SOMEONE IS GOING TO HIT THE LOTTO SOON!!!! Bruno is a 10 month old standard poodle weighing 48 lb. and he is just about perfect!!!! We would love to put him in a family with older kids who want a dog to play fetch, someone who has dogs his size or larger so he can play, with someone who loves an obedient loving snuggling guy. He is fabulous with older/larger kids, dogs and we are not sure about cats!!!! He is housetrained, great on leash, knows commands… name it he is to die for!!!! AND YES he is hypoallergenic. 🆘 Update - foster found and has been picked up!!! Urgent Foster Needed 🆘

Meet Scruffy! Scruffy is a 14 month old Chihuahua mix who was given up by his owner. He is fully vetted and chipped. He needs to be tagged by a rescue. We would love to tag him provided we have a committed foster.

He was owner surrendered after two months due to him not being good with or is snappy with young kids. He is crate trained and used to sleeping in a crate. Lived with adult men, women and an 8 year old and 13 year old. Owner said he was not good with small dogs but the shelter has had him around both small and medium size dogs and he did not show any aggression with either of them. He would trot up to them wagging his tail and was fine. He doesn't like quick or overhead movements and cowers if you come at him too quickly or strong. He would do well in a quiet home with no small kids. He just needs someone with patience and love to give him a chance.

He is in an over crowded shelter in DFW area. Please message us if you can foster and we can get him tagged at the shelter before it’s too late.
