Here is a video of Piper and her puppy’s minutes after they were born. ❤ They had just turned 7 weeks old in the previous post. I think it's amazing how quickly they develop! 🥰 Did you know that all puppies are born with their eyes and ears closed? They remain closed for 2-3 weeks, so they completely rely on smell and touch to move around and to find mommy's milk.❤ They cannot regulate their body temperature until they are 3 weeks old, so most of the time mommy snuggles with them and only leaves for quick potty breaks.❤🤗❤ They cannot support their weight for the first two weeks, so they crawl around on their tummies. Their crawling helps to build strength in their little legs, which leads to their cute toddling around.❤ They rely on their mommy for her warm milk and to keep them clean, which also is required for them to go potty. ❤🥰❤
