After a few days of soaking Lily's foot and wrapping it to protect from the weather, Lily is back to 100% with no limping! Today we'll let the Abscess air out and then soak her foot again on Sunday!

“Ark Farms has been a great experience for me. It's really been a place where I have had the chance to get hands-on experience with animals in this day and age.” • For today’s staff spotlight we’d like to highlight our incredible Animal Welfare Coordinator: Amber! Amber is a rising senior at Bartlett High School and has been our Animal Welfare Coordinator since 2019. She’s in charge of all the feeding and health needs for all the animals, and that includes managing feeder schedule and overseeing intake and adoptions. The thing we love most about her is her willing spirit and courage to do whatever it takes for these animals. She is often the hands-on action end of a tele-vet call, and she just gets in there and does the work! That willingness has earned her a Pre-Vet Apprenticeship with Dr. Jennifer Dunlap this summer. In short, she’s pretty darn amazing 💚
