Hi folks! I am looking at potentially hosting some travel classes this fall, if I have enough interest. These would work differently than last time. Rather than poll people, I will send out a sign-up sheet with dates and times and people can choose what works for them. If a class time doesn’t fill (4 people), I would either collapse classes or offer privates. I would send the schedule out for one month at a time. Cancellations would be allowed but payment would be due if I cannot fill your spot.

Please let me know if you are interested and I will make a sign up sheet for the last weekend in September and October.

On the Nose Scent Work has had an incredible influx of trial success these past few months!

I am very proud of all these students. Those who didn't pass on their first tries exhibited tremendous resilience and determination to improve. And everyone had FUN with their dogs and exhibited excellent sportsmanship, supporting and learning from each other.

We had some TOUGH search areas today. I didn't catch it on the GoPro but a cottontail rabbit ran directly in front of my older boy right before a search. I'm so proud of how everyone handled such a distracting environment!

What excellent weather we had for searching today!

Darcy is a masterclass in changes of behavior. In a ten-second clip, we get a change of direction, change of pace, tail wag, change in breathing, and chuffing.

It was such a lovely day to be out with my own dogs and student dogs. Some great work was had!

We had some wonderful breakthroughs this morning with a couple of dogs who are newer to the sport. Grateful to get to play this game with some amazing dogs and people!

So much joy and fun in class today! The bus search was a bit of a doozy, but all handlers did such an amazing job supporting their dogs in a tough search.

Fun class today! The dogs worked containers, vehicles, and exteriors. We had four container distractors (pickles, a whole apple, a whole kong, and half of a Happy Howie's roll) and only one half-hearted false alert.

We had a great time searching today! The dogs worked several single hide searches and one off-leash exterior in very windy conditions. Picture courtesy google images because I keep forgetting to take one.

Fun class today where the dogs worked through lots of containers distractors and environmental pressure (rain). It killed the puppy a little ;)
