Happy 4th of July from our team to you!

As we gather to celebrate Independence Day with family and friends, let's not forget our furry companions! Here are some tips to keep your pets safe and calm during the festivities:

🎇 Create a Safe Space: Make sure your pets have a quiet, comfortable place to retreat away from the noise.
🐶 Keep Them Indoors: Fireworks can be frightening for pets. Keep them indoors and secure windows and doors.
🐱 Update ID Tags: Ensure your pets' ID tags and microchip information are up to date, just in case they get scared and run off.
🐾 Avoid Fireworks: Never use fireworks around pets. They can cause severe burns and trauma.
🎆 Watch the BBQ: Be mindful of what your pets eat. Certain foods can be harmful to them.

Wishing everyone a safe and joyful 4th of July!

We performed a thoracocentesis, and drain 10 oz of fluid from his chest! This procedure will keep him comfortable until he is able to follow up with either his primary care or a specialist!

We recently had a Good Samaritan bring in a tiny kitten that was rescued from the undercarriage of her car! A local car dealership dismantled her engine in order to extricate him, and then he was brought in for an exam to make sure he wasn't injured during his adventures. Despite his exciting journey inside of a car engine, he was completely unharmed! We determined that he's about 6-8 weeks old, and is a very brave boy!
