🐾 Meet Rousey – Looking for Her Forever Home This Sunday! 🐾

Rousey is a 3-year-old female pit mix who’s well-mannered and knows the rules of the house, making her a wonderful family pet! She’s great with kids and loves meeting new people. While Rousey prefers to be the only pet in the home, she’s not reactive to other dogs—she just loves having her space to herself. She’s had positive reactions to cats at the shelter, but slow introductions are always recommended.

Rousey is:

🐾 Meet Porky – Looking for His Forever Home This Sunday! 🐾

Porky is a 3-year-old male Hound mix with a heart full of love! He came to the shelter as a stray and is now looking for his perfect family. Porky is extremely friendly, great with kids, and loves meeting new people. He’s dog-friendly and enjoys playing with his furry friends at the shelter, plus he’s said to be good with cats (just make sure to introduce them slowly!).

Porky is:
🐕 Dog-friendly and loves to play
🐱 Good with cats, with proper introductions
👦 Great with kids and strangers
💪 Ready for some training – he’s still learning leash manners and has a tendency to counter surf, but with love and guidance, he’ll thrive!

His adoption fee is only $25 until October 15th as part of the Empty the Shelter national adoption event, thanks to Cathy Bissell and the Bissell Pet Foundation!

Meet Lois, a high-drive, working-line Lab who found herself in a pet home. When Lois arrived, she had zero impulse control, tons of drive, and was bursting with energy. Her intelligence and enthusiasm were off the charts, but all that energy needed direction.

Over the last three weeks, we worked to channel her drive and focus, teaching her how to control her impulses and listen to her mom. Together, we built strong communication skills so they can live a more balanced, peaceful life.
