Meet Gus! When Gus first came to me, his world was full of uncertainty. He was timid, anxious, and had some concerning behaviors like resource guarding his mom, snapping when trying to hold onto items like paper or towels, and barking at his mom constantly. It took days for Gus to trust me and truly start to open up—his anxiety ran deep, and he needed time to feel safe.

His family had a few key requests for training: they wanted him to stop barking at them all the time, relax in their home, and build trust so they could enjoy life together without the constant stress.

Through patience, structure, and balanced training, Gus learned to trust, let go of his anxiety, and work through his insecurities. He discovered confidence in clear boundaries and consistent communication. No more snapping, no more stealing, no more nonstop barking—just a happy, calmer Gus who knows he doesn’t have to be in charge of everything around him.

Meet Maisie, the young Basset Hound with a big personality! Her short stature might be deceiving, but don’t underestimate her—this little powerhouse had some seriously intense leash-pulling skills. On top of that, counter-surfing was a big problem at home, and Maisie’s stubborn streak only added to the challenge.

During her three-week training program, we focused on creating clear structure, addressing resource guarding, and channeling her determination into better behaviors. Maisie made incredible progress, and her family now has the tools to guide her confidently in any situation.
