The owners, Michele Fisher and Angie Boggs, have both been trained in a veterinary hospital and both come highly recommended from area veterinarians. Michele graduated from Animal Behavior College in 2002 and continues with training and behavior education. They are animal lovers of all kinds and have several of their own. A positive approach to the basic praise obedience training class is availabl

e for puppies and adult dogs. By using a balance of meaningful rewards, human correction and understanding, we create and effective training program. We teach owners how to live with their dogs the way that will encourage them to become an obedient member of the family. Your dog will learn basic commands and can also help your dog with any behavioral problems. Private one on one lessons and group classes are also available. In addition, Michele is a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and a Certified Mentor Trainer with the Animal Behavior College shaping students to become trainers. We offer the Military a discount for their service to our country and to those who have recently adopted their dogs.

To all walkers/ countryside users
If you happen to come across a sheep lying on its back with its legs up, it is 'cast'. Please be so kind as to tip/roll it back over; if left like this they can die as they cannot get up. This is a common problem and especially important this time of year as most 'cast' sheep will be carrying lambs, hence their struggle to get to their feet. Please be kind enough to share

I would like to remind you that it’s the time of year to see turtles crossing our roads. Please give them a brake and if possible help move them along. I'm not asking you to jeopardize your safety but if you can, please help. Make sure you nudge them in the direction they were headed or your help could have been in vain. Please whatever you do DO Not remove the turtle from the area in which you found it . Simply move the turtle safely off the road in the same direction in which it was traveling .

To my human moms & dads, this is what happens to my paws when you take me out in the scorching sun ☀️ when the pavement is so hot !

Remember I sweat through my paws, so in this heat I can’t get rid of my sweat as my paws are burning. Missing my walk won’t harm me. Please let me just relax indoors and take me out when the sun is down🐾

If you see someone walking their dog on hot pavement, ask them to take off their shoes for the remainder of their walk home. Maybe then they'll understand.

This is Riley, an amazing 3 legged dog that found the best owners she could ever had found. She lost her leg in December and was rescued in January. I have really enjoyed training Riley and her owners.
