Whew!! TICA Annual International Cat Show 2024 - done and dusted. Our Mid-Atlantic Region hosted the show, so we are all thrilled to have completed the marathon. 14 judges from Canada, Argentina, Japan, Great Britain, France, and all points USA. Exhibitors and gorgeous cats from around the world. Continuous judging in 14 rings throughout the weekend, punctuated with an awards banquet Saturday evening.

Sharing some pics of the show hall in bloom, including the fabulous(!) raffle table, for which I was responsible, helped by so many. Also, sharing a snap of one of the TWO Best Kitten awards (over 90 kittens competing) my Rory (SaraJen Middleton Rare) received - so very proud of this new boy. And one of my female kittens - Nora (Suncoon Sunora Bacanora of SaraJen) also snagged a Best Kitten. And good boy Josh brought home a Best Championship cat award, as well as. Tired (very tired) but happy we are.

Get OUT there -- Go to a Cat Show!!!! This weekend, Sat/Sun (8/31 - 9/1) we'll be at the huge TICA cat show in Hampton, VA. Over 300 cats entered from around the world, lots of cat paraphernalia vendors, talk with breeders and cat experts of all kinds.

**Baker's Dozen** 13 for 13! So happy to relay the results on our heart sonogram reports from today. We took 13 of our breeding cats to CVCA (Chesapeake Valley Cardiology Associates) today for a personal mini-clinic to get a visual scan of the hearts of our breeding cats. All were clear for signs of HCM - Yay! Much gratitude to Dr. William Tyrrell, board certified cardiologist, and his hard-working assitants for their time and expertise.

Del Ray's Last TICA Show April 2024

So honored to share this video of one of the several Best Allbreed Cat awards Del Ray achieved at his final show for the 2023-2024 TICA show year, in Saugus, MA. The Honorable Francine Hicks is the judge here, and we are most grateful for the award. For me it's bittesweet... so much emotion involved in breeding and loving and showing this wonderful, trusting, fabulous guy.
