Eight years ago, a group of friends were chatting at the National Western Stock Show in Denver and the question arose: “who do you think is better – the Champion Angus Bull selected today, or the Angus Bull from Agribition or Palermo?” From that point on the Champion of the World competition was formed. Champion of the World recognizes 16 breed champions, both bull and female across 77 countries e
ach with a designated show in each country. Upon winning your countries designated show, your animal will go into the Champion of the World judging selection, where a continent champion will be selected amongst breeds/sexes for North America, South America, Europe, and Asia/Africa. Then, the four continent champions will be judged to create one breed champion for both the female and bull in all breeds. Our selection process is formed by recognized cattle evaluators from across the globe. One Supreme All Breeds Champion of the World will be selected in February of each year, they’ll receive a custom pair of Rod Patrick boots complete with their farm brand, and a custom photography shoot courtesy of Aush Rae Photography anywhere in the world. But, Champion of the World is so much more than just selecting a Champion animal. It’s about cultivating a global beef community where semen, embryos, ideas, processes and comradery can be exchanged across country lines.
