We are thrilled to announce the winners of this year's Halloween Costume Contest! Happy Halloween Week!! Thank you to everyone who came out to the 15th Annual Trick or Treat Halloween Celebration hosted by our amazing partners at Dogma Bakery! It was a great event for all on 2 and 4 legs, and thanks to your support we raised thousands to save more Lucky Dogs and Cats. We saw some amazing costumes this year and need your help to choose the winners of our costume contest on Facebook (please note we will ONLY count votes on Facebook)! Categories are Best Pet Costume, Funniest Pet Costume, Most Creative Pet Costume, and Best Person and Pet Costume and participants have noted categories they would like to be considered for)! Share your vote and what category you think they should win in the comments (category winners will be determined by most comments per picture in any given category). And off to South Carolina goes the VeRUS Pet Foods for the dogs and cats coming to Lucky Dog Animal Rescue because of Hurricane Helene.

Food always makes a difference and is appreciated.

Ruthie supervised the entire transfer from the Dogma storage unit to the van. She is a good manager - just look how much food they got in the van!

When we see all our local rescues stepping up to help people and pets affected by Hurricane Helene, we step up too!

We made a call to one of our favorite distributors, NAN Distribution, and said "What can you sell us for $2000 to help send food down to the affected areas."

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue has a big campus in SC and was moving out animals to make room for more. They sent their food to the affected areas because we were buying so much for them.

Well, VeRUS Pet Foods, you came through and Animal Nutrition, you are the very best!

This is what we got for $2000. This is WAY over $2000. Probably closer to $10k ! If not more! And all of this will feed a lot of cats and dogs. For many, many months.

Thank you to Dogma staff for making sure this got in the storage unit, thank you to the NAN driver, to Verus, and to Lucky Dog.

And thank you to all of our customers for supporting us! Your support makes a difference!

We are so proud to support Lucky Dog Animal Rescue in their efforts to save lives!
