People have been asking for an update on the baby heifer that we brought in the house after it was born when it was cold. Well it’s still cold out … But the calf is doing good back with momma during the day and back in the house at night where it’s warm. At least until this extreme cold snap passes.

The little heifer is all warmed up. She got up and walking around. Took her outside to mama for a few hours. Then brought her back into the warm house for the night. This negative temperatures are hard on all of us. Can’t wait until it gets warmer so she can stay out side with mom all night.

Had a surprise heifer tonight in this cold snow. Had to bring her in the house to get it warm. Hopefully we caught it in time and get it going. Maggie “our dog “ was our little helper!!
