A CLEAN START FOR THE NEW YEAR!
In WOOFS! Daycare PLUS, our focus this month is grooming, vet care and handling.

All dogs need regular care, whether that's brushing, cleaning around their eyes or checking their paws for cuts. It's easy to forget to put these skills on the training checklist, but if a dog is uncomfortable being touched or handled, giving them proper care can become really difficult.

This month, your pup's trainers will practice all of those critical tasks. From a "vet exam" of their eyes and ears to a "groomer" brushing out their coat to everyday handling at home, we'll teach and rehearse the skills that help keep your pup comfortable and healthy!

JAN 5 - 30: Photo Set: Rub a Dub Dub, Staying in a Tub
JAN 5 - 9: Play & Stay—Self-control game with excitement followed by CALM
JAN 12 - 16: Grooming Practice—Brushing, toweling off, paw care and more
JAN 19 - 23: Toys at the Vet—Reinforcement with play instead of food
JAN 26 - 30: Vet Check Practice—Checking eyes, ears, teeth and more

BATCH 3: Welcome to WOOFS! Winter Wonderland!
Every month in Daycare PLUS, dogs have a new "stay" challenge. This is a tough one! It's a big ask for dogs to come into all of this fluffy snow, to sit or lie down, and then to hold a stay. It often took some time, but the pups did a great job!
What this means for you: every time your pup practices sit, down and stay in a new place, or even just approaches and walks through all of these strange items, your pup gains a bit more confidence and experience with all of the crazy things that life may throw at them. We plan every activity to help your pup become more well-rounded and more ready to go off on new adventures with you.
Plus, I mean, it's also super cute..
