If you know someone who would like to join a team passionate about animals, we are hiring! PT and FT positions available. PT positions make it very easy to fit into a busy lifestyle around other commitments. Clients receive a referral credit on services for referred persons we hire.

IMMEDIATE NEED:
💥 Daycare Manager - full-time position Sunday - Thursday, with some flexibility for the right person if part-time is preferred
💥 Office Manager - part-time position, mornings
💥 Daycare Team - shifts are typically 6am-1pm and 12:30-8pm on weekdays, or 6am-1pm and 1pm-7pm on weekends
💥 Dog Walkers - shifts are 3 hour block of time M-F between 10am-4pm
💥 Pet Sitters - shifts are flexible and fits nicely around other commitments such as full-time job, college, etc. as pet sitting is conducted mornings, evenings, and weekends throughout Northern Virginia and DC

🍁 Boarding pick-ups: 11am-2pm & 7pm-8pm
🍂 Training school on break Tuesday, 11/26 - Sunday, 12/1. No classes or socials.
🍁 Regular weekly dog walks on 11/28 and 11/29 have been canceled. If you need a dog walk, please submit a reservation request.

Be sure to mention any extras you would like to add to your dog's boarding reservation when booking. If you have already booked, just email our office if you'd like to add on any of these services:

Happy Fall y'all🍂 This cutie is sure to warm hearts just like pumpkin spice. Meet our newest Pet of the Month ambassador.... Maisy 🐾

🍁 Maisy is a 2.5 year old female Goldendoodle. She has been part of the FGMN family since 2022 and has used daycare, enrichment school, enrichment activities, and on demand training.

🍁 Words to live by: "Do you have treats?"

🍁 Favorite thing about our team? I love when they get excited to see Maisy and when she gets excited to see them!

🍁 Favorite dog friend? Her friend Bailey is in playgroup D with her and we love to see Luna W when she comes to daycare.

🍁 Quirk? Maisy loves keeping cool and will find an air vent on the floor and lay right on top.

🍁 If she could talk, what would she say? They give out treats at enrichment school!

🍁 Why did you choose our service? "I tried a couple other doggy daycares when Maisy was a puppy, but Fur-Get Me Not is attentive and organized and I love that there are so many playgroups so pups feel comfortable. "

🍁 Anything else you would like to share? Maisy is humbled to be pet of the month and will be eating a dehydrated sweet potato to celebrate.

We haven't worked on this one with him in awhile so we'll give him grace for taking a few shortcuts but in the end he solved the puzzle on his own 👏🥰 Trainers can work with your dog during Enrichment School (offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays) or while your dog attends structured daycare via On Demand Training sessions (offered M-F). Our Story

Our story began in December 2000 when founder Tammy Rosen launched Fur-Get Me Not as a pet sitting business operating out of her home in Arlington, VA. Initially she was the single employee and operator but quickly realized the growing demand for in-home dog walking and pet sitting services. Within a few short months she hired her first employee and was able to expand in-home pet care services in Arlington and soon after the broader Northern Virginia region.

In late 2003, Fur-Get Me Not relocated it's office to Shirlington and opened a 3,000 square foot dog daycare facility. By doing so, the company was able to further expand our pet care services by offering dog daycare, dog boarding, and dog training. By 2006, Fur-Get Me Not expanded in-home pet care services to the Washington, DC area.

In 2010, Fur-Get Me Not became a full-family affair when Tammy's husband joined the company. At the same time, we expanded our business in Arlington, by opening a Dog Training School located next door to our dog daycare, and in DC, by opening a DIY Dog Wash.

Today Fur-Get Me Not employs 130 pet care professionals and provides services to over 8,000 clients in the Northern Virginia and Washington DC area. Fur-Get Me Not has been recognized by numerous publications, organizations, and our customers for the high quality of services and the friendly, professional staff that make it all happen.
