Found out one of my favorite dogs Zoey has crossed the rainbow bridge. She was always the best girl for grooming and when she would come and stay with me. I will always remember you sweetie and will miss you.

HAPPENING NOW: Almost 100 dogs just rescued by HSMO from a formerly licensed breeder in Urbana, MO. We will be live on Facebook during the medical triage later today.

Our Animal Cruelty Task Force is on their way back to our Macklind location with 97 dogs, including many puppies as young as 10-weeks-old. The rescue was coordinated with the Missouri Department of Agriculture and the Missouri Attorney General’s office.

The formerly licensed breeder, operating as Cridder Creek Kennel and later Little Miracles Kennel in Hickory County, has been ordered to close. The rescue breeds include Collies, Standard Poodles, Shelties, Yorkies and others. The ages and conditions of the dogs differ greatly.

We are really really in need of sheets, blankets, towels, small dog beds and newspaper. If you have any you can donate to us please drop them off at our shelter located at 1201 Macklind Avenue St. Louis, MO.
