It's started. The "I let my dog grow out all Winter" grooms. I was assured the dog was kept combed out (last visit was Mid-September). I knew better and scheduled them a four hour block. Took two hours to demat and I combed out a pile of Bichon fluff that was as tall as my comb and again as wide. No hair trimmings just fluff from the slicker and comb🤦🏼♀️. After a trim, the final results left their pet with 1.5 inches of fur on the body, slightly less on tapered down legs. I offer they could have brought the dog in every six weeks and paid the same amount, except he would have been matted every time. I just can't wrap my head around why.
