~In Loving Memory of Yoda Bradford Clemens, 12/04/12-09/15/25~

Yoda was the bestest boy. Our family was so blessed and lucky to have almost 13 wonderful years with Yoda and his mischief. He loved stealing snacks out of the pantry, especially if he could find a bag of marshmallows to drag away! Yoda loved anyone with a warm lap and a blanket. He loved laundry day and burying himself in pile of clothes straight out of the dryer. Yoda stole the hearts of everyone he met. He was particularly attached to our 8 year old daughter and they spent so much time cuddled up together. She was his safe place. No amount of years is ever enough, but I am so grateful to Dr. Holt at The Next Ridge for giving us the chance to give Yoda the passing he deserved, laying in my arms, in his favorite chair, snuggled up in a warm blanket.

~In Loving Memory of Tilly Lynn Fleming~
Feb 14, 2011 - Sept 10, 2025

Our beloved 14 year old beautiful, baby girl earned her wings and went to heaven to be with her human brother Logan and dog sister Miley.

She was the best dog anyone could have asked for. She was so darn cute and sweet. She loved the outdoors to sun bathe and coming in and out just to get a treat, taking side by side rides, and especially car rides, where she had to stand in the middle at all times or was rolling the windows down. She never met a stranger and loved to be pet and on the couch between mom and dad. She was our first foster failure and wouldn't have changed it for the world. She also was a cancer survivor.

Tilly you were loved by many and you will be greatly missed but will never be forgotten ❤️

~In Loving Memory of Belle “Potato” Roberts~

On August 25 we lost our little loaf, Belle”Potato” Roberts. She was our laid back cat who didn’t care one way or another. She was the best cat anyone could ask for. She was very easy going and liked sleep and food as much as her momma. When we brought her brother, Simba, home she acted very motherly to him and would play and cuddle with him whenever he wanted to. She will be deeply missed and always hold a special place in our hearts.

~In Loving Memory of Lily Durfee (Painting Lilies of the Field), 18 February 2011 ‒ 15 June 2025~

On Father’s Day, our family said goodbye to sweet Lily, our faithful companion for over 14 years. We are overcome with sadness, but we knew that it was time. We miss stroking her soft ears and laughing at her silly habits. Run pain free in Dog Heaven, beautiful girl.

~In Loving Memory of Tucker Moreland~

Tucker “Tucky” Moreland, 9 months old of Tunnelton, WV, completed his earthly journey across the rainbow bridge on the evening of July 10, 2025. In addition to his parents, he survived by his four human siblings Peyton, Paxton, Jaxson and Gracelyn.

In the mornings you could always find Tucker with his mom while she was getting ready for work, chasing his sibling through the hallway and walking his family to the front door as they begin their busy day. In the evenings you could always see him looking out the living room window waiting for his family to return home safely.

Tucker was very lovable and loved for someone to shake his paw for a good treat. He loved when his dad would play rough with him, and always pawed at him to continue when he tried to stop. He enjoyed being outside with his family, playing ball even though he would not always return it, roughing up with his favorite stuffed llama, and taking a swim with his siblings. He also enjoyed taking a car ride to visit his n***y, and loved to have his head out the window catching some fresh air with his ears flapping in the wind. When he was not playing you could always find him cuddle up next to someone ready for some attention and a quick nap.

We were very blessed to have him for the little time we did. Tucker made a lasting impression on our lives and for that we will forever be grateful. He will be missed beyond all measure.

~In Loving Memory of Maddie Jo Wilson, September 28, 2009 – July 6, 2025~

Maddie Jo, our beloved companion, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2025, at the age of 15. Surrounded by the family who loved her dearly, she left this world just as she lived in it—deeply cherished and endlessly adored.

She was her mom’s pride and joy. To her dad, she was the ultimate snacking buddy—especially when candy corn was involved. Maddie loved car rides, but nothing compared to her favorite adventures in the side-by-side. She loved laying on the front porch and watching over her farm.

She never missed a doggy birthday party, and everyone always knew when Maddie Jo arrived—her signature three barks made sure of that, especially if mom stepped out of sight.

She was the last of her litter, and her passing marks the end of a beautiful chapter.

Each night ended the same—with her mom patting her bottom and saying with affection, “smack her butt.”

Until we meet again, sweet Maddie Jo…”smack her butt.”

~In Loving Memory of Arlo James Neff, November 7, 2015 – May 26, 2025~

Arlo James Neff crossed the rainbow bridge on May 26, 2025, with his mom and grandparents by his side.

“That is the best dog I have ever met” was a phrase Arlo heard often, thanks to his goofy, loving spirit. He never met a stranger—greeting everyone with a full-body wiggle and a big smile, crooked teeth and all.

Arlo was his mom Cassie’s constant companion, joining her on countless fishing trips, hikes, swims, and—his personal favorite—rides to his grandparents’ house, where he was loved and spoiled beyond measure.

He filled his days with his favorite toys, pestering his sister Andi, snoozing with his brother Axel, and never straying far from his mom’s side. Nothing made Arlo more happy than a drive-thru run for a cheeseburger or a sunny afternoon walking through his mom’s garden, chasing the birds, and greeting every car that drove by.

Arlo wasn’t just a pet—he was family. He was a soulmate. His love was unconditional, his loyalty unshakable, and his presence a constant source of comfort. As his loved ones said goodbye, many tears were shed and he gave one final tail wag, as if to say, “It’s okay. I’ll always be with you.”

Arlo will be deeply missed by everyone who had the joy of knowing him.

Rest easy, sweet Arlo James. You may no longer walk beside me, but you will always have the biggest piece of my heart.

When preparing your estate or will, don’t forget about the continued care of your pets. It's easy to overlook, but ensuring they’re cared for after you're gone is just as important. Here are a few steps to consider:

- Ask yourself, "Who will care for my pet if something happens to me?"
- Create a trust and allocate funds specifically for their care.
- Talk with your vet about your plans so they can continue their medical care. - Gather pet insurance policies, medical records, and other important info to pass along to the new owner.
