Duchess Scott passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, leaving behind a home forever changed by her absence and forever filled with love because of her presence.

From the moment she entered our lives, Duchess proved she was more than just a dog — she was family. Loyal to her core, endlessly funny, and fiercely protective, she devoted her life to watching over the twelve children she grew up alongside. Whether standing guard, offering comfort, or quietly keeping watch, Duchess took her role as protector seriously and carried it with pride.

She had a way of making everyone laugh with her silly quirks, expressive personality, and knowing eyes. Duchess could sense when someone needed comfort and was always there — no questions asked, no conditions attached. Her loyalty never wavered, and her love knew no limits.

Though her time with us feels far too short, the impact she made was immeasurable. Duchess leaves behind countless memories, paw prints on our hearts, and a love that will never fade.

Run free, sweet Duchess. Thank you for protecting, loving, and blessing our family for twelve beautiful years. You will always be missed and never forgotten.

Beloved Pomeranian | 15 Years Loved~

Simba, our sweet and gentle Pomeranian, passed peacefully after blessing our lives for 15 beautiful years. Small in size but enormous in heart, Simba was the very definition of unconditional love. He filled our home with warmth, laughter, and a quiet kind of joy that can never be replaced.

Simba was known for his soft, cuddly nature and the way he adored his pet siblings. He shared an especially close bond with his brother, Koda, with whom he spent countless moments playing, exploring, and growing together. Wherever his family was, Simba was never far behind. A true mama’s boy, he loved sleeping nuzzled beneath his mom’s arm, finding comfort and safety in the place he cherished most. He was her shadow, her constant companion, and her loyal little protector.

His gentle spirit, his bright eyes, and the love he gave so effortlessly will be forever missed. Simba leaves behind a family who adored him and a lifetime of memories that will continue to warm our hearts.

Though his paws may no longer walk beside us, his love will remain with us always.

🌈 In Loving Memory of Bentley
August 2, 2020 – October 21, 2025🌈

Today, we said goodbye to one of the best souls we’ve ever known — our sweet Bentley. From the moment he joined our family, he filled our days with love, laughter, and a loyalty that never wavered. Bentley had a heart as big as his playful spirit — always ready for a cuddle, a walk, or a game with the many children who adored him.

He had a special way of knowing when someone needed comfort — resting his head on your lap or wagging his tail just enough to make you smile through tears. Bentley didn’t just live with us; he was truly part of us.

Though our home feels a little quieter and our hearts a little heavier, we’re so grateful for every moment we shared. Bentley’s love will live on in our memories, in the laughter of the kids he grew up with, and in every sunny spot where he used to nap.

Run free, sweet boy. You’ll forever be our good boy — loved beyond measure, missed beyond words. ❤️🐾

~In Loving Memory of Ziggy Kieffer-

Ziggy joined my family in 2015, and was a foster rescue from Friends Fur Life. I knew once I saw the picture of him online that it was meant to be. Though I didn’t know it at the time, he was the first of many adoptions that would change my life, and was there for so many milestones over the past decade. He was there as I grew into the adult I am today, he was there as I purchased my first home, with a small yard for him to run in, and he was there when I decided to become a parent through the foster care system.

By far, his most important job was welcoming the children who came into our home, first as foster children, and then as my adopted children. It was Ziggy who first welcomed them with kisses, who loved them unconditionally at first sight, and calmed their nerves as they settled in. He could often be found in the morning waiting at the end of the hall waiting for his humans to wake up.

Not only did he patiently welcome each of my children, but he also welcomed the addition of other fur family members, all from foster families, including our cat, Bowie, who became his best buddy, and our newest dog, Piper, who he doted on every day.

Ziggy was patient, he was gentle, he was kind, and he almost always had a toy in his mouth that he would carry around the entire day. He was loved by everyone who knew him, but especially by the children who came to call him theirs, and by me, whose life he changed for the better and who he showed that once someone or something was part of our family, they were always part of our family.

He passed away peacefully in our home on Sunday, October 12, surrounded by those who loved him most.

He was truly the best boy and we were so lucky to call him ours.

~in Loving Memory of Scrappy Doo Moyers, September 26, 2014-October 09, 2025~

When Scrappy first came into our lives, he was only six weeks old. His new life began with a new family on a big farm, where he had lots of room to run and play every day. He took pride in "guarding" his yard and once bravely defended his family from a black bear.

He loved riding on the RZR with his human brothers and taking car rides. He enjoyed those special treats at the bank drive-thru window and those that he got for being "so cute" at the fast food drive thru windows. He loved Spaghetti with Parmesan Cheese and Slim Jim's. But what he loved most of all was being mommy's boy, sharing with her his Scrappy Doo kisses, his nose snuggles and cuddles.

Scrappy lived a full and happy life surrounded by love every single day. 💕

He is survived by his Mom, Dad, human siblings, his fur brother Rusty and his favorite cat pal, Smokie Bear.

Scrappy will be deeply missed, forever loved, but never forgotten. 🐾💔 🐾

~In Loving Memory of Yoda Bradford Clemens, 12/04/12-09/15/25~

Yoda was the bestest boy. Our family was so blessed and lucky to have almost 13 wonderful years with Yoda and his mischief. He loved stealing snacks out of the pantry, especially if he could find a bag of marshmallows to drag away! Yoda loved anyone with a warm lap and a blanket. He loved laundry day and burying himself in pile of clothes straight out of the dryer. Yoda stole the hearts of everyone he met. He was particularly attached to our 8 year old daughter and they spent so much time cuddled up together. She was his safe place. No amount of years is ever enough, but I am so grateful to Dr. Holt at The Next Ridge for giving us the chance to give Yoda the passing he deserved, laying in my arms, in his favorite chair, snuggled up in a warm blanket.

~In Loving Memory of Tilly Lynn Fleming~
Feb 14, 2011 - Sept 10, 2025

Our beloved 14 year old beautiful, baby girl earned her wings and went to heaven to be with her human brother Logan and dog sister Miley.

She was the best dog anyone could have asked for. She was so darn cute and sweet. She loved the outdoors to sun bathe and coming in and out just to get a treat, taking side by side rides, and especially car rides, where she had to stand in the middle at all times or was rolling the windows down. She never met a stranger and loved to be pet and on the couch between mom and dad. She was our first foster failure and wouldn't have changed it for the world. She also was a cancer survivor.

Tilly you were loved by many and you will be greatly missed but will never be forgotten ❤️

~In Loving Memory of Belle “Potato” Roberts~

On August 25 we lost our little loaf, Belle”Potato” Roberts. She was our laid back cat who didn’t care one way or another. She was the best cat anyone could ask for. She was very easy going and liked sleep and food as much as her momma. When we brought her brother, Simba, home she acted very motherly to him and would play and cuddle with him whenever he wanted to. She will be deeply missed and always hold a special place in our hearts.
