With these hot temps & slow moving waters in some areas, brings the blue-green algae, which is common in Colorado in the summer. Lakes & ponds can create conditions where algae can grow quickly & form a bloom.

Some Blue-Green algal blooms produce toxins that can be harmful to pets, humans & other animals that come into contact with the water. For everyone's safety STAY OUT OF THE WATER!!!

To report the illegal use of personal fireworks in Arvada, please call the Fireworks Hotline at 303-980-7340. The hotline will be available between July 3 and July 5 from 7 p.m. to midnight. ONLY call 9-1-1 if it is a life-safety emergency. The Jeffcom app (available on Apple and Google Play) will also have a fireworks button to report without having to call.

Who has a pup like this? They destroy those expensive pet store toys within 5 mins.

I have gotten stuffies from the Thrift store that are a lot less expensive. Just make sure the stuffy is dog safe (ex: no hard eyes, no beans as stuffing,etc.). And always make sure you wash it before giving to your pup!
