Your generous donations make improvements, maintenance and expansion possible. This park is on City of Arvada land but is NOT funded by the city. Improvements and expansions are only possible by donations. There are donation boxes conveniently located on each side of the dog park. Our group is grateful for the community support. Please clean up after your pet! There is no official poo crew! We are

thankful to the City of Arvada Parks Maintenance Department who removes trash on a weekly basis. The park is open dawn to dusk mainly because wildlife is active in the area.

One of our Board members caught someone taking a whole roll of p**p bags from the dispenser. If you see someone doing this please ask them to stop. The p**p bags are bought with donation money and are NOT provided by the city.

Please bring your own bags to the park, if you can't remember or are constantly using the bags then please donate money as the bags are not free. There are donation towers on each side of the park.

Hulk is a sweet, well-mannered 7-year old Bull Terrier mix currently looking for his forever family. He was attacked by the other dog living in the house so he needs to be the only dog in the household. Because of being attacked he’s scared of other dogs and would not do well at a dog park. Hulk's original owner passed away, and he is now looking for a safe and loving home by July 19th. He's currently in Denver, Colorado. Here are some important details about him:

Behavior with Children and Other Animals: Hulk's behavior around small children and cats is unknown since he hasn't been exposed to them much. He does have a prey drive and chases squirrels.

Reaction to Loud Noises: Hulk is unfazed by fireworks and loud noises; he sleeps through them.

Manners: He takes food and treats gently, loves playing with balls (though he tends to pull fuzz off tennis balls, so hard plastic is better), and is not food or toy aggressive. He waits politely when you take something away.

Home Behavior: Hulk is house trained, kennel trained, and uses a dog door. He is non-destructive and doesn't chew. He loves car rides and behaves well in the car.

Personality: Hulk is affectionate and loves people. He showers his human companions with kisses and enjoys random walk-by lickings. He has no health issues or allergies.

Ideal Home: Hulk needs to be the only dog in the household. He would be great with an older couple as he enjoys gentle walks and does not jump on people. He's equally happy playing ball or lounging with you while you watch movies.
