STORM CHECK: Quite a few horses were cold this morning but improving as the wind dies down and temps climb. We fed extra hay to warm them up per usual storm protocol. If available, we recommend owners checking on the smaller framed/older horses.

A few horses were a little cold this morning (warm wet/windy snow is much harder on them than negative temps/dry weather) but warming up as the sun came up and wind dies down. Majority are doing surprisingly well! The ranch is burried and we won't be plowing until the storm passes. Please stay home and safe unless you absolutely need to be here. We will continue checking on them periodically and notify owners if they need intervention! ❄️🤠❄️🤠❄️

Easy breezy!! We hit -16 with zero issues. All horses happy and content. Please be prepared to quickly remove blankets as the sun comes out and temps increase!

WEATHER UPDATE: We've hit -8 and all horses are completely dry, fluffy coats and doing excellent. Wind is calm. We'll continue checking periodically but are not anticipating any issues. Please stay safe and warm! 💪
