We had to say goodbye to our sweetest cat, Marshmallow, a couple of days ago. She was so mellow, never scratched or bit the kids, even when one liked to dress her up. She sat on my lap whenever possible, sometimes on my neck, and liked to break into my husband’s office during video calls to say hi. She enjoyed eating tape and hunting sunbeams. We will miss her so so much. After losing our beloved Golden Retriever a couple of years ago this has been devastating.

Just added two more watercolor kits to my Etsy shop! These were a big hit at a recent holiday market, I hope you enjoy them too! I’m starting to add these dark background prints to my Etsy shop. I love the pop of color in these, especially on the fireweed. It reminds me of the bright pink color hiking through the black of a previous fire.

Packing…
New card packs coming soon. They will be at the Foothills Holiday Art Market in Golden and the Winter Market at Mountain Phoenix in Wheat Ridge next weekend. Then online as soon as I can get them listed. Eventually I want to get rid of these plastic boxes and will transition to paper. I kind of hate these but I have loads from when I sold letterpress cards so I’ll use these up first.

Scarlet gilia (or Ipomopsis aggregata) is a striking plant. It has been used for a variety of traditional medicines to treat colds and skin irritation. The red color variation shown here is pollinated by hummingbirds, while the white color tends to attract moths. Scarlet gilia grows in a variety of habitats and is native to most of the western U.S. This plant grows well from seed and is a beautiful addition to any garden.

Just a heads up, I lowered the price of the zip up sweatshirts in my Etsy shop. This may or may not last depending on how good I am at math 🤣. I love mine and the print is still just like new a year later.
