In July of this year, NJ had some wild storms - and Plainfield in particular got hit hard. The flash flooding that followed sadly impacted one of the local shelters. Thankfully, all of the animals were safe, but they needed placement right away since the building was no longer usable!
We had to make some space at the time to help take them in, and our friends at graciously offered to let a few cats crash at their adoption suite until we were ready for intake. Once we had the room, we took in the last group that still needed placement - and Tonks was one of those cats.
She arrived to Catsbury in July and wasted no time settling into the lounge. From day one, she claimed the top of the tower as her throne, keeping watch over all the lounge activities. Every morning, she’d greet us with a full conversation - and you know we love a chatty cat!
Cindy first applied to adopt hoping to get pre-approved, so when she finally met “the one,” she’d be ready. That day came yesterday! After meeting Tonks, Cindy knew instantly that she wanted to make her part of the family.
Cindy, thank you for adopting. Tonks has such a big personality, and we know she’ll fit right in with you and your family. Congratulations!
