Happy Memorial Day, everyone! 👋🏻 Meet Snowy, a 7 month old Great Pyrenees mix. We’re working with miss snow on her resource guarding, random reactivity and over all spicy behavior towards her owners. She’s a good girl but isn’t afraid to let you know when she’s displeased with a situation. Luckily, her owners are patient and willing to put in the work.

Choosing a dog trainer can be one of the most important decisions you make in your dogs life. The techniques that a trainer uses can strongly affect how you interact with your dog for years to come. Therefore, it is very important to choose your trainer wisely.

We use fear-free, positive, science backed methods that do not require any harsh punishment or fancy training equipment, other than a harness and leash.

Punishment based methods may be advocated by those without an appreciation of the current status of science or psychology in dog training.

I want my students to learn that I am really fun and I’ve got their back. I will always keep them safe and I won’t push them into a situation they’re not ready for.

It’s my job to keep them safe and that’s a job i take very seriously.

We will be offering two agility and trick group classes. This is a combo class focused on fun, new skills that build confidence, self control and strengthen your relationship.

This is a fun course, not for those looking to compete in real agility. Great for relationship building and teaching your dog how to listen and have fun around other pups.

Our private social club is a unique experience designed for social, well-mannered dogs. We provide fun events for dogs and their humans to socialize, exercise, and have fun, regardless of breed, size or age. 

The club is run by two dog trainers to ensure safety and experienced handling/ caring for dogs.

The club meets twice a month, for 12 months.

Dates of monthly meet up are released month before

You must RSVP to each event so we can get a head count!

Examples of some of our future events: pack walks, pine barrens hikes, agility + trick workshops, Easter egg hunts, brewery hangs, swim party, ice cream dates, secret Santa and more!

Membership fee is $200/per dog for the year.

I started Good Boy Training after a internship with an American Kennel Club (AKC), Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) on a farm in central New Jersey. I am a Animal Behavior College dog trainer (ABC-DT), a New Jersey Certified Animal Control Officer (ACO), a member of The Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and Fear Free Pet Professionals. I am a certified level 3 animal Reiki practitioner. I am certified in Pet CPR & First Aid, and veterinarian recommended.

Humane, force-free training is an extremely important practice to me and one of my top priorities as a trainer. Having worked with many adult dogs who struggle with anxiety and reactivity issues, I have a special passion for working with puppies to prevent these issues from developing in the first place. My goal is to provide you with the tools you need to have the dog of your dreams!
