A quick little video of āCodyā to show how much heās improved in Natalie and Mirandaās care!
ā¼ļøWe are still trying to raise funds to haul him to our sanctuary in Arkansasā¼ļø
Codyās story:
He is about 9-10 months old. His momma passed away before he was weaned and then he was locked in an unsanitary stall with no food which forced him to start eating the wood on the walls for food. Heās a bit timid, but wants to be friendly! Natalie saved Cody from the slaughter pipeline and has him placed with Mirandaās rescue in Texas. Heās been with Miranda for the last 6 weeks or so getting much needed vet care, food, & loveā¤ļø We wouldāve brought him to Arkansas sooner but he wasnāt strong enough to handle the 7 hour drive - but now he is!!!
We are trying to raise $1000 to cover hauling to Arkansas and the rest of his board bill with Miranda.

Cashewās Freedom Ride!
Iām a couple days late, but our sweet Cashew had his freedom ride a year ago (April 8, 2023)! He was so scared of people and now he is the sweetest little donkey! We love you Cashew! Youāre the best friend we couldāve ever asked for Peanutš„°
Haloš
This sweet girl came up in my memories todayš
This is Halo - who the rescue is named after. She was my first goat rescue. Even though I mostly work with horses, Halo is who really sparked me to want to save more animals in bad conditions.
I bought her from a local auction for $30. I was the only bidder. She couldnāt stand or walk in the auction ring so her walking in this video (taken the day after the auction) gave us so much hope! She slept in my room at night and we did everything we could to get her stronger. Unfortunately, she had an infection that she couldnāt beat. She ended up septic and couldnāt stand or walk, and lost her appetite. Thatās when we made the decision to humanely euthanize her after a long 2 week battle. This was in March 2021.
She was such a happy goat and we are so blessed to have been able to take care of her in her last daysš
