Karen Spencer has been passionate about animals all her life, from being the neighborhood dog walker and taking home strays as a child, to volunteering at shelters. She knew she always wanted to work with animals and began following her interest at a veterinary hospital as a receptionist. The veterinarian recognized her hard work and dedication and encouraged her to become a veterinary technician. After spending years as a technician she decided it was time for a change. Since moving to Ashburnham she decided she wanted to pursue her own business in the pet care industry and decided to start Waggin' Tails Pet Care Services.. She has spent many years taking care of pets and wanted to continue to offer a level of care to peoples pets that were left at home while their families had to work. She has experience with all different kinds of animals and care from the basic walks, to medication administration, and training. She is a passionate, caring and responsible person who just believes pets are family and should be taken care of in the way they are accustom to while their families are away. Karen is also a ABC Certified Dog Trainer and AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. Karen enjoys spending time with her dogs Lily, and Sadie.
