Made it back to the great state of Oklahoma Checking on my Parents Especially my mom had back surgery. So decided to bring the dogs!! In between rain showers i got to make two stands snd second one produced. If i was a betting man i wd had lost today. The whole time i thought this little coyote was a female. Couldn’t ask more than a perfect stand to train some pups. The white pup is learning. This coyote hung around and let the dogs chase it about 10 times before i cd actually get a shot because of all the cattle in the field.

Folks dont miss out on some mean gritty pups. I have been around alot of pups and never seen a meaner set of pups. they are 1/2 jack russell and 1/2 mt cur. dm. only litter i will have the daddy was killed by a timber rattler.

Finally found a mean pair!! Pups did good!! This old male wanted the dogs bad he came just a few feet away from me.

who needs a gritty pup wd make a great dog for about anything u want it to be getting after critters. 4 males left. 1/2 jack russell 1/2 mt cur. 8 weeks old june 13. wormed and first shots. Ready to go.

Pups will be ready June 21st. This are the 4 males i have left. They going fast. 1/2 Jack Russell/ 1/2 Mt Cur. Should make a nice Squirrel Dog. Trap line Dog. our about anything you wd like them to be. Parents are very Aggressive and gave high prey drive. Pm me for if interested.

Finally got to head to Oklahoma for a turkey hunt! Came home went to my favorite spots seen 4 long beards at 3 pm had this bird dead at 4:30. Ole hens brought him and his buddy too close. Shot the ole strutter. 20lb. 9.75” beard 1” spurs! Oklahoma never lets me down!!

My Decoy Dog Minnie had a litter of pups yesterday. A breeding i wanted to be done but didn’t think it would happen. My full blood jack russell bred my full blood Mt cur. should be some fast feisty dogs. Did a inventory on the pups and i have an even number 4 males 4 females

Buddies since birth, Sharing there first turkey hunt together. Ethen got him one and now time get Luke one. It almost happened this evening till bird ran off before getting to us!!!

Well i got a story to tell you folks today…..I lease some land going to make a truck garden spot. So i tiller my spot for watermelons and i be damn hogs start showing. Have not seen a sign of hogs anywhere on this place. My good friend Matt let me borrow his thermal and 350 legend. Took boy with a light and 10/22 and low a behold hogs all in my pastures. My first thermal kill. Nasty bastards!!

Went fishing this afternoon, wasn’t doing that good i told Ethen u see those big beaver huts that beavers would come out right at dusk. We looked at the rules and it was still legal to kill beavers. We had hour and half before dark we went got 22 lr and 17 hmr. Low and behold six beaver came out we got three for sure two stayed floating the one in picture swam to the bank and died. This was my sons first ever seeing a beaver up in person. The beaver weighed 28lbs. They sure have destroyed the timber at that pond. I love making memories with my son.

Pretty cool find in my woods. I was just checking see any broken tree branches was hanging from past wind storm i noticed this hornet nest. My son bet me I couldn’t shoot the limb it was hanging on. I took the ole 17 hmr on second shot on the top branch of and tall gum tree old nest came tumbling down.. Very cool to see never seen one up close till today. That sucker held a bunch of wasps!!
