Today I finished up a very hard chapter! I am officially on maternity leave. 🤩 Grooming pups has its challenges in and of itself but grooming while pregnant… 😅. It truly brought on so many challenges that I would have never expected.

I am so thankful for all of you guys who have been so patient and kind during the hard days. And I’m especially thankful for the ones that simply told me to take care of me and my girl instead of worrying about them. 🥰

I am so excited for this next chapter in my life! I know it will truly be the best one yet. I will see you all and your fur babies in the spring! 💕🌸🌻

Today marks 1 year since I started grooming and as of today, my book is completely FULL for the rest of 2023! 🤯 God is so good!!

As most of you know, we are expecting a little one in early February of 2024! With that being said, I am taking my maternity leave in late December! After praying and thinking long and hard about it, I have decided to take the month of January off to spend with my husband and rest before our new addition! 💕

I’m hoping to come back in the spring and would like to make a list for people to call when I am grooming again. If you would like to be added, please message me and I will write you down!!

Thank you all for your endless support for this past year! I truly feel so blessed to have each and every one of you and I cannot wait to see what’s to come for Amanda’s Pet Care! ❤️

Hey guys! With my business growing the way it has, I’m having to implement new changes. Please see below for more information:

Grooming Policy Changes:

1. All dogs must be vaccinated and shot records MUST be provided prior to appointment. If I have not received a photo copy and/or hard copy of vaccinations before time of appointment, we will have to reschedule.

2. The prices that are listed on my page are my set prices. However, they are subject to change under certain circumstances. There will be an up-charge on dogs who have fleas. I do have to spend more money/time cleaning and bombing when dogs come in with fleas. There will also be an up-charge on dogs with severe matting. I typically give myself a 2 hour time slot. If I have to go over due to matting, there will be a charge.

3. If you are 15 minutes or more late to your scheduled appointment, you will be asked to reschedule.

4. If you arrive earlier than 10 minutes to your appointment, you will need to wait in your car until I come get you.

5. If you are 30 minutes or more late to pick up your dog from their appointment, you will be charged a $10 fee.

Announcements:

- My hours for grooming are 10:30-3:30 Monday-Friday and every other Saturday. However, I will not respond to business messages after 5 PM on Friday until Monday.

- I do not have any overnight stays availability until late September.

- As of right now, my availability for grooming is slim. I do not have ANY available appointments until the second week of August.

With that being said, I now have a cancellation list. If your name and number is on this list and anyone cancels, I will contact you to give you a chance to bring your pup for an earlier appointment.

Lastly, I will be “out of office” July 14th-July 24th! Please message me this week for any inquiries and I will get back with you as soon as possible.

I was scrolling through my page and realized the last time I did a “Get to know me” post was in 2020! 😳

SOO hi!! ☺️

My name is Amanda (Small) Osborne! I am 21 years old and have been working with dogs for almost 8 years now! 🤯 When I first started Amanda’s Pet Care, it was mostly for family friends who needed a pet sitter. Once I turned 16, I turned my little side gig into a “job”! I started as a sitter and slowly started expanding into let outs, walks, and now grooming! ✂️ I started grooming this past October (2022) and I have been loving every second of it. I am currently taking online classes to be certified as a groomer. This job has been such a blessing to me in so many ways. I have had the absolute honor and privilege to meet some incredible people and their awesome pets! 💗 I know there has been a lot of new people to join my page so I wanted to give a few fun facts!

1. The pup in the picture is my sweet boy, Yeti! He was the inspiration behind learning how to groom! And I gotta say, he has been the best bud to practice and learn on. 💙

2. I got married to my bestfriend, Gabe, when I was 19! 🤯 He has been one of my biggest supporters in my career and I truly couldn’t be more thankful for him and everything he does for me and our little family.

3. I was homeschooled for all 4 highschool years and genuinely loved it! I had flexibility to build this business which was so important to me.

4. I am an absolute reality-show fanatic! 😂 There is nothing I love more than hanging out with my husband and laughing over cringy/dramatic dating shows. 🤦🏼‍♀️

And the best for last,

5. The most important things in my life are my relationship with God and my family. God truly has blessed me with some of the most supportive, loving, and encouraging people as my family. I can confidently say I wouldn’t be where I am without them. 💗

I am so thankful for all the support that has been given and appointments that have been made. I am now working full-time in my home salon located in Asheboro, NC! 📍 With that being said, I am only booking for dogs under 40 lbs at this time due to my table having a weight limit!
