I found this picture of a project I did in the 1990’s (maybe 1997 or ‘98). I took this antique NC pottery butter churn (probably from late 1800’s to early 1900’s) that we had purchased from an auction and made a polymer clay
Red tail boa to adorn the rim. By the way, the rim was damaged / broken which is why I chose this crock. I donated this to the NC for their annual “zoo to do” fundraiser. I am not sure how much it sold for but someone bought it at the silent auction. I believe it was a 5 gallon crock so it was a pretty big piece and of course with polymer clay I had to bake the whole thing in my home oven. Lol I call it snake and bake. Lol. 🐍🐍 Just ran across this photo and thought I’d share.
