🙁 Update: once again, no one wanted BB. She was a perfect girl at our adoption event. She has been through so much. Who can give her a home as an only dog? She has so much love to give…..

Our lovely BB will be at our adoption event today. Yet, another adoption event for this sweet girl. She never gets chosen. She has been with us for about 2 years now. 😔 https://form.jotform.com/233173672482156

She is the sweetest, smartest, most loving and loyal dog. She would make a wonderful companion dog. She prefers to be the only dog in the home, but loves all people! She Really needs and deserves a loving home. She is perfectly trained, and the perfect size- petite, around 25 lbs. Is there anyone out there with a dog shaped hole in your heart? BB is the girl to fill it. She's a JOY!

Taking care of a dog pool is definitely a challenge! The pool fell out of balance earlier this week when the pool pump broke and had to be repaired. But as of this morning, we are back in business with our levels perfect. Looking forward to seeing you and your dog over here at the pool!

Another great puppy preschool group class tonight! We worked on pass the puppy where we handled ears, tails, tummies, and paws. Next we had fun on the puppy confidence course, and free play.

Seeing so many under socialized pups— most people do not realize how much socialization needs to occur before 16 weeks of age. That’s how soon critical socialization periods are over! If you miss this window between eight and 16 weeks, you will never get this time back with your puppy. New puppies should meet 50 to 100 people and be taken to many different places and see the world, especially between the ages of 12 and 16 weeks of age. Some veterinarians are encouraging owners to never take puppies out and isolate them until 16 weeks. In my opinion, the risks of under socialization outweigh the risks of disease as long as you socialize properly by avoiding areas where lots of other dogs go. Please inquire about puppy preschool for puppies 10 weeks of age to 5 months. Early socialization can prevent so many problems!
