We may not have our space this Christmas, but we couldn’t skip our annual photos with Santa! Join us and Mountain Pet Rescue December 14th from 12:00-3:00 at Hollywood Feed on South Tunnel rd in Asheville. Take home a keepsake 4x6 photo and maybe even a new friend. Can’t wait to see you all there!

Our new space is about to start construction. Please continue to share and donate to our GoFundMe as we rebuild. (Link in bio) I wish we could have taken the mural from depot street with us, it was my most favorite part of that space. We’ve decided that when it’s time to add new art to our new space, our Cali baby will join Sammy in a new mural. She will get to come with us in spirit. 🐈‍⬛🐾❤️

Sneak peak of the new space Fetch Dog Spa will be moving into! We still have a long way to go to get back everything we lost and build this into a functioning dog spa, but the lease is signed and plans are in motion. Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement!

What I haven’t mentioned yet was our biggest loss of all. Helene took our precious shop kitty Cali. I waded through the water looking for her after the flooding, but the water for too high and she didn’t survive. She came to us just a couple days before Christmas in 2022 when her owner was evicted from a nearby apartment. I promised him I would take care of her. I planned to give her a warm place to stay until I could find her a home, but she quickly became the queen of Fetch. All of the staff took care of her and loved her, we belonged to her collectively. A little known secret about Fetch is that while our main focus is dog grooming, we always had a stash of rescue cats and kittens in our care. If you ever came back to use our restroom you may have had a kitten pawing at you or heard some meows coming from our cat condos in the back of the salon. I’ll be sharing some pictures of the kitties that have called Fetch their temporary home over the years in the stories as well as a fundraiser for to honor our Cali baby. (Even though she wasn’t always pleased with sharing her home with them 😹) give those pups and kitties hugs and kisses from us ❤️

Most of you know that our salon and the River Arts District neighborhood were devastated by flooding. Thankfully, our entire staff is safe, and for that, I am grateful. I have high hopes that we will be able to rebuild and see your faces and care for your pets again in the future. Goodbye for now, but not forever.
