Happy to say that Mercy, is now, CHAMPION Aery’s Have Mercy. Her sire, Ch Aery-Silde Paint It Black (Mick) past away last month…..he was an amazing producer (top producer) with many fabulous kids. Her dam is Ch. Aery’s Shake Rattle and Roll. As always, thank you to Ann Rairigh and Julia Kinsey for putting yet another Championship title on another Aery poodle. I think we’re in 70 or 80s at this point?
We are searching for candidates that are interested in learning how to groom. This is an entry level position that would start as a bather/groomer's assistant with the intent of training the candidate to groom. Starting pay is 16/hr, plus tips. Please PM the business to set up an interview!

Shampoodles has a new family member of the non-k9 sort. Chase gave birth to her puppy boy this morning at 10:30am! Congrats to Chase and her husband Clark on their new addition to their family!😍
It's unfortunate that I feel the need to post this, however after a "new client" antagonized and provoked me to the point of having to call the police, I feel it necessary.
I realize that Covid has everyone on edge and people are displaced from their regular salons, however the staff at Shampoodles are not punching bags. Rude and hostile behavior will not be tolerated.
Also, we are working as fast as we can, the animal's safety will always be priority before their human's schedule. With that said, we will try our best to accommodate your schedule, but we need to know your scheduling needs at the time of your pet's appointment.
If there is an issue with your groom, we will be happy to solve the problem, but the above statement applies. Please be polite and we will be happy to fix any unfortunate oversight on our part.

Hello Everyone!
We are excited to get back to serving you and your pets! However, we do want to make sure everyone is safe and is comfortable when dropping off, picking up and making payment.
First: We are fortunate and have full glass windows as our store front. When you pull up, please take a look to see if there is someone already in the lobby. If so, please wait as we would like there to be only one client in the lobby at a time. If you are in a hurry or prefer to have someone come out to your vehicle for curbside drop off (or pick up), please call the salon to let us know you're out front and what vehicle you're in.
Second: When dropping off or picking up, I have placed two ex-pens in the lobby. If at all possible, when dropping off, please place your dog/s in the pen, take the leash/s and collar/s off of your dog/s, take them with you and close the ex-pen. Your groomer will be discussing your desired trim, changes or confirming "same as last" instructions while talking at a distance.
Third: Check or cash is the best way to minimize interaction, but we all know that's not always the most convenient. We are disinfecting the register before and after each customer as it is a touch screen device. If you want to know your total beforehand for cash or check amount, feel free to call before you pick up and we'll be happy to look that up for you.
And last, I want to say thank you to all of you for your encouragement and support during this crisis. As a business owner it's been and is still very stressful. While being in this industry for almost 30 years now, I have never imagined a scenario such as this. I love Asheville and where I am thankful we're able to re-open, I am disheartened to hear of other business remaining closed and some closed for good. Small businesses are the backbone of our city. When you get a chance, please patron whatever local business you can as I can tell you business owners are terrified at the moment and need their community's support.

The state has granted us approval as an essential business. I will be sending out an email to clients soon. Most of our employees have decided to wait out the 30 days ordered by the state. So, the salon will only be taking a specific number of dogs a day until we are fully staffed. If you prefer either Chase or Veronica, we will be scheduling and rescheduling you into late April-May and beyond.
