Words cannot express how obsessed we are with Olive 🫒🥰 scroll ➡️➡️➡️
Her first big girl haircut at 7 months old was a hand scissor cut all over. Going from about 4-5 inches to about 2 inches. Rarely will I be able to accomplish this on a puppy’s first hair cut. Only because they are wiggly puppies! I’m willing to try in certain cases if the pup has had regular grooming experience, but I will know pretty quickly if it can be done or not.
This girly was so good at standing still it blew my mind! And obviously she’s the cutest.
Really, I am obsessed. 😍 love you olive!🫒

Meet HENRY ✨
He is our friend who comes to visit us almost daily! And by visit I mean he drags his dad to our door on his daily walks so he can just come say hi and sit on our couch 😆 (and get treats of course- but that’s not how this started) he loves coming into ZenDog so much that when it’s time to go his dad has to drag him out the door 😅

The sooner you get your puppy on a good grooming schedule ~ the easier and more enjoyable the grooming process will be! Usually grooming fears stem from a lack of consistency and early introduction, rather than a singular bad experience. Grooming consists of a lot of new things that they would not encounter otherwise! So we work with puppies to introduce them to grooming slowly and at their own pace and pair it with positive reinforcement to create the best experience possible!

Unfortunately we continue to be closed due to water safety issues. We are doing everything we can during this time, but as we all know, this is a slow and difficult process. For now we hold gratitude for what we do have, and we focus on healing from the trauma that has affected all of us. We only ask that you please understand and respect that with the inability to open ZenDog Spa, we are each navigating our own personal challenges as well. This isn’t an easy time for any of us. I would like to send gratitude, love, and positive energy to each of you and I hope that we can reconvene soon. I promise I will update you all as soon as I have more information.

I’m trying to raise money for my amazing staff members so that they do not need to worry about lost wages. Our salon is in one piece and we are SO grateful, but we are still unable to open and operate until our water is back and it is declared safe. One of my staff members, Lauren Marie , still has not been able to get to her house in Swannanoa. We appreciate every donation and every share just as much.

Dear beloved clients and pets,
We will be closed until further notice due to Hurricane Helene. Luckily our salon is standing with no damage. We are so grateful. All of our employees are accounted for, but some of us are in worse situations than others. Regardless, we continue to be grateful. Now that I have gotten myself to a more stable place, I will be working on ways to help our employees, clients, pets, and community. We have an amazing community and are so blessed to be part of it. I will continue to post updates as they come and ways we can all help each other. Please take care of yourselves and your mental health during this time. If anyone needs an ear or emotional support, I am happy to be a sounding board/support/voice during this time. My other major passion is mental health and healing trauma based on psychology, neuroscience, and spirituality. It fulfills me to bring support and help to people, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I care so much about all of you and your pets and everyone in WNC. And I want to say we have all been through a very traumatic experience, so allow yourselves to feel that. I have nothing but love for all of you and we will get through this together. 🩷
