We want to spread the word to help keep your kitties safe! Avian Influenza ( H5N1) is continuing to spread. There have been confirmed cases in waterfowl in our area at Lake Julian. Cats can become infected with this virus, and tend to become very ill with infection. There are a couple of things that you can do to keep your cats as safe as possible! First, keep them indoor, as this reduces their exposure to birds. Second , do not feed raw foods at this time, as some commercial raw cat foods have been confirmed to be contaminated with Avian influenza. Please let us know if you have any questions!

Tito came in today for a dental cleaning and radiographs for preventative care. It is important to do dental radiographs( X-rays) to determine any disease that happens to be below the gum line. 🦷🐾🦷🐾🦷🐾
