What a week the Eastfield team had at WEC Ohio!

Bahntina led the way, with multiple clear rounds this week and a final double clear effort to a fourth place finish in the 1.30 mini Prix.

O-So exquisite ES made his return to wec with several great trips in a competitive 3ft green division, finishing Champion in the young hunters and also 7th in his first ever national derby!

Hannah Swanson Sneddon and Winterfield also had a successful week, winning a Ushja 3ft trip and a competitive 3rd in a large 40+ WEC hunter group. Winterfield also took a spin around the national derby for a 10th place finish!

EF Parkview and new rider Lily Strohl made an excellent pair this weekend! Although they just missed the cut off in the 2’6” derby, they closed out the week with a 1st and 2nd over fences for the 2’9” modified child/adult eq championship ribbon!

Chloe Robertson’s Nidentolina VDL jumped clear as she stepped up to her first ever 1.0m class early in the week! Chloe and her mare put in some smooth rounds this week as well stepping up the their first 1.0m together! They will be a pair to watch throughout the 2025 show season!

1. Yearling gelding Cabarado V ( Cabardino x Diarado) should mature 16.2 the pedigree on this guy speaks for itself. Big mover, quiet, easy and well handled. Make up to be a top hunter
2. Weanling filly ( Validation × UB40x Freestyle) should finish 16.1 + very pretty, sweet, correct. Canter is super balanced and she loves to jump all the things and does it in perfect form.
3. Weanling c**t ( Apiro x Long Island T x Rio Grande) huge baby should be 17h. He will be a stunner on the line. Big canter and absolutely beautiful
4. In utero (Donthargos × WANDOR VAN DE MISPELAERE X heartbreaker ) this is a GP horse in the making dam is the daughter of Azeula de Muze who's foals have told upwards of 60k euros 4 at auction in Europe. Can be sold with or without recipient mare( BWP and sound)

Congratulations to Grace Nordhoff and EF Parkview on their 9th place finish in the RI adult mini medal final! In addition, she was 3rd in the horsemanship and 8th in the classic to start off the day!

And a big shout out to Hannah Swanson Sneddon, who also was 8th in the adult classic, contributing to her win on the hormanship exam!

Jennifer Pray and Concorde C were also super consistent today just getting back into the swing of showing after a 3 year hiatus. She sat as the first rider right outside the cut off in both the classic and the final today and also finished second on the horsemanship exam!

Most importantly Ciana Ryder did the most fantastic job piloting our new favorite young pony EF Tickeled Pink around the RIHA 2’ medal!

Starting out the week strong at Fieldstone Show Park!

Sharon O'Neil and her own West Indigo finishing today with a win over fences and under saddle to the a Champion ribbon in the USHJA open 2’3” hunter! They are definitely looking ready for MHJ finals this weekend!

O-SO Exquites ES and Chelsea Francis also finished out his week with some amazing ribbons in some large competitive groups including an over fences win and Reserve champion in the baby greens! He also made an impressive deput to the 2’9” this week!

EF Parkview just keeps showing us how much he loves the derby field! Finishing 6th today with a large group in the open 2’9” derby at summer showcase week one!

This young gelding is available for lease and is capable for the 2’6”-3’3” job!

What a day! O-So Exquisite ES and Chelsea finished out the Ushja 2’6” and baby green division today with a clean sweep of 1st place finishes in all four jumping trips!

Wrapping up both divisions with a reserve finish in the Ushja and champion in the baby green after finishing 2nd in the hack.

We had a fabulous time in Vermont a week ago and somehow managed to avoid the rain in the show ring all week long!

Highlights of the week include:

Sharon O’Neil and West Indigo getting a second in a large group of low adult hunters among several other great ribbons including in the Ushja with professional’s!

Hannah Swanson and Winterfield rode to second and third in a competitive 2’9” and even won a trip in the 3 ft Ushja before having some fun in the jumper ring for a clear trip in the .90 to get ready for finals season!

Chloe Robertson and her own Nidentelina VDL put in some beautiful rounds in the modified adult jumpers! This green mare is really starting to find her way and even made it into her first .90 trip this week!

Bahntina and Chelsea working their way back into the bigger tracks with a second in a 1.20 and a finishing the week with a third place finish in a 1.30 class! We are so happy to have this fantastic mare back in action!
