We did a revamp on the girls top cage. Busy busy for some active girls. The bottom is still set up with hammocks and more of a lazy vibe.

An update on what's happening at the rattery.

We took in several rats (male/female) a few weeks ago. We have been nursing them to good health. They will be available as soon as we are confident in their health.

We still have several female rescues available for adoption.

We have been breeding our dwarf blue and standard blue lines. As of right now 6 pairings looks to be 1 possibly 2 litters.

Moondance Tails has several litters available Dwarf and Standard. They have 2 litters that are from our standard blue line. Additionally they have 2 litters from our blue point Siamese line.

Please reach out to us if you are interested in adopting rescues. As of now please contact Moondance Tails if you are interested in adopting younger breeders. In the event we do have litters as of now they will not be available for adoption. Moondace is open to transport within reason. We will assist as we can with our volunteers as well.

**UPDATE** All these boys have found homes!

Not a creature was stirring......except for a rat!!!

Meet Butch, Charlie, Morgan, and Robin Hood. They are 4 males looking for a new home. They previously were housed separately in the same home, but were put together when they went into foster care and got along with each other right away. Morgan has an eye injury from a fight in his previous colony, but it doesn't stop him from being nosy and adventurous!

Morgan and Butch were born 9/3/23, so they are around 1 yr and 3 months old. Charlie is Morgan and Butch's dad, but his birthdate/age is unknwon. Robin Hood is not related - he was born 6/20/23.

Message us if interested in adopting these boys! We would prefer they all stay together since they are getting along well, but are open to adopting out in pairs.

We are happy to announce that while life is still hectic we have moved forward with breeding.

While we are attempting these pairings our boys are over 2 years old and we may have to change our males in these pairings.

Our new babies from Moondance Tails! These babies are the grandchildren from our Bianca. So we kept the Rescue Down Under movie names. We made an exception for the albino boy.

These babies are looking for a good home!

The girls top double of the quad is all set up. This has been set up as an activity space with lots of climbing and toys. The girls are obsessed with the little globes so we added several of them.

They are super excited to have the full quad to run in. Hopefully the babies won't be bored and destroying everything the first night. :-)

Big boys are moving into the double today! The cage is a side by side double using the shelf space. I have
Length 72 in, Width 24in, Height 33 3/4. This is large enough for 13-16 males.

We added more under ground options with several exits. They have lots of hides, hammocks, and chews. Focus for the boys is to offer enough hides and spaces for them to sleep individually if they choose to. The wheel is 16 in x 4 in.

We have 12 boys, 4 are available for adoption!!
The boys are all 1-2+ years and are just lazy boys.

We got the girls bottom cage gutted and scrubbed down. We added a bunch of Halloween fun! A few new baskets we are going to give a try. Lots of chew toys and hides to keep the girls busy.
