We’ve had an injured deer 🦌 here for weeks. I grow grass and clover for the deer and this one is injured with a broken or dislocated back leg and one antler missing. I want it to know that he or she is safe here. I’m leaving a large bucket of water 💧 there at all times for it. Sweet Sweet Deer ~ we love you 😘🦌

Years ago . . .one of my horses, Dancer, who was one of our stallions, would share affection with me. One day he licked the whole side of my face! This was the sweetest kiss and I will never forget how that felt!! It was amazing!! ❤ 🐎 ❤

I LOVE these pictures of animal oneness. . .when my children were growing up, we had a mama chicken, a mama duck and a male goose that shared mothering of a group of little baby chickens and ducks that were hatched together ~ we had a male turkey that would sleep with our dogs and a deer that lived with us and played with our dogs and cats, and we had a cow that thought she was a horse and lived within our large herd of horses!! YES, ANIMAL ONENESS!! ❤ ❤

As the weather begins to get nicer and you take your kiddos to a local pond or lake to feed the ducks and geese, please keep this bit of info in mind.🙏🙏🙏

Another FYI

Feeding bread causes permanent damage to ducks and geese. They develop angel wing. They can not migrate or fly to avoid predators. PLEASE DO NOT FEED BREAD to ducks and geese. Cracked corn, corn, peas, mealworms, romaine lettuce, watermelon, grapes CUT into pieces, cantaloupe……are a few good options!

It’s truly so beautiful to be on the back of a horse when they are swimming like this!! I have so many wonderful memories with my gorgeous horse, Chelan, swimming with her . . . Such a blessing in my life I will never forget! So grateful 🥰🐎

Cardinals mate for life, and they don't migrate. So if you are lucky enough to have a pair of nesting cardinals, you will probably see them all year long-- year after year.......💖
