I also produce Afro Violets, Sapphires, Wilson Whites, Beiges, Pink Whites, and Ebonies. 🏆I won the 2024 MCBA National Chinchilla Show! I had the Grand Show Champion as well as the Champion Female of Show with one of my Standards. Congratulations to all the exhibitors at the show, a lot of very nice quality chinchillas were shown and special thanks to our judges Tamara Tucker and Jordan Manalo.

Had a good weekend at the 2024 Colorado ECBC chinchilla show this weekend. I had the Reserve Grand Show Champion Standard and had the Class Champion in 5 of the 10 classes in the Standard show. 🏆

Had a great weekend at the 2024 ECBC Great Lakes branch chinchilla show. I had the Grand Show Champion and Reserve Grand Show Champion Standards. I had 12 of the 20 Standard Class Champions. I won 1st Place Standard Breeder award. I also had the Grand Show Champion in the Mutation show with a Black Velvet. Special thanks to the judges Dr. Joe Butler and Shahna Thomas Powell (Trainee).

Beware, there are a growing number of scammers starting chinchilla adoption and rehoming groups on Facebook. If someone will not allow you to pick up a chinchilla in person or arrange your own transportation and pay any and all fees in person at time of pick-up, Do Not Send Them Money! If you ever see a link in comments on my page to a chinchilla adoption and rehoming page, It is a scammer group. I’ve been raising chinchillas and been an active member of both chinchilla organizations in the US for the last 40 years, there’s not many legitimate ethical breeders of chinchillas here that I don’t personally know or at least have heard of. You can always contact me and ask for referral on “breeder” that you’re dealing with.

In 2012, I saw a Standard male at the ECBC National Chinchilla Show in Denver Colorado I knew I needed to add to my herd to get to where I wanted to be with my Standards. That male was HUML A5 a big, gorgeous dark Standard of my good friend Ron Hummel. I begged Ron to sell me that male and he did but, he warned me that he believed the male would not breed. Lucky for me, he did breed but has always been a very slow breeding male. I’ve kept the majority of his offspring and he is the most influential animal in the backgrounds of my current Standard herd. He is 11 years old now and this is his 7 Months Old Son that I’ll be showing this season and then putting into my breeding program to carry on his Father’s legacy.❤️
