“A dog is one of the few things in life that is as it seems.”
– Mark J. Asher

(13)
We are problem-solvers, here to help clients maintain healthy animals or to diagnose and treat disease. Our newly remodeled facility accommodates all animals, big and small. Our small animal clinic features two exam rooms, surgical suite with attached recovery room, laboratory and x-ray rooms, and spacious dog runs. Also on the property, our heated equine/large animal barn offers routine services
and surgery for our equine patients. In the course of our work we seek also to encourage people’s spiritual growth, to increase their knowledge of scripture, and direct people to the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Every September 28th is World Rabies Day.
"Rabies remains a major concern worldwide, killing tens of thousands of people every year. In the United States, it's not unusual for one to two people to die annually. Among animals, there were nearly 4,500 reported cases of rabies in the U.S. in 2020.
What can YOU do? Vaccinate your animals and keep them away from wildlife that can spread the disease. Rabies is 100% preventable. According to Dr. Charles Rupprecht, former chief of the rabies program at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, "Your local veterinarian plays a key role in controlling rabies."

June 23rd is National Hydration Day which is a great reminder to make sure you are keeping your pets properly hydrated at all times, especially during the hot summer months ahead. During extreme temperatures most pets don’t get enough water which can unfortunately lead to dehydration.
Some common signs of dehydration include:
-Sunken Eyes
-Lethargy
-Diarrhea
-Excessive Panting
-Decreased Skin Elasticity
-Loss of Appetite
Be sure your pet gets plenty of H20 to keep them happy and healthy. A good rule of thumb is to provide at least 1 ounce of water per pound of body weight. You can also add water to their food to increase their daily water intake as well.
