Greetings kitty lovers! My name's Trixie, and I have a tale to tell.... I had a home once upon a time, but my owner
developed dementia. That didn't bode well for me because he was unable to interact with me as his illness progressed. When he thought he was rubbing me, he was actually heavy-handed with, and I started to be weary of him. After a period of time, the family thought it was more fair to take me to the pound so I could find another family. That's where Hanover Humane found me.

Because of all I've been through, sometimes I act like a curmedgeon. My friends with Hanover Humane say I've been misunderstood so they've really tried hard to get me to trust them, and it's working! I've been placed on diet which has also really helped me; not only have I lost some weight, I'm able to get around a lot better! I'm pretty good about being brushed and having my nails clipped; if you pull up a chair, I'll even snuggle beside you. I know that, if given the chance, I'd be a great companion for someone who has a calm home. I could probably adjust to a resident kitty if the kitty were calm like me and willing to accept me. I'm not a good fit for a home with a dog or small children.

I'm fully vaccinated, spayed, tested (-/-), microchipped, and ready to go to my true forever home. My name's Tiger Lily! I'm a very friendly torbie that's about 5 years old. I had an amazing home where I was very happy and treated well by my owner. Sadly, she passed away, and I was homeless. My friends with Hanover Humane say I'm rather agreeable and happy-go-lucky; even though I was an only kitty in my home, I don't seem to mind the other quite kitties in the foster program. I've not been socialized with dogs or small children, though. I enjoy being brushed, will let you trim my nails, and don't even mind being held. I'm looking for a forever home where I could spend my days snoozing in a sunbeam or watching the world from my very own cat tree. If I can find an attentive owner who would provide for me and give me a lot of love, I promise to be the best pet ever!
