Also from our Woof Walk yesterday at the Courthouse is our bestest boy, Hugo! As you can see he’s a charmer, loves people, walks and seems to enjoy critters he meets too! He is on the younger side (estimated 2-3 years) and would fit well into almost any home!!! Blueberry Pancake!

Pancake's favorite time of day is breakfast of course, and he absolutely loves blueberries! Pancake came to the APL as part of a humane seizure including geckos, a snake, a hamster, and hedgehogs among others. Believe it or not, he is the last of his crew still here with us. And this guy has come a long way since coming to the APL! At first he hid most of the time in his little house, afraid of any noise or movement near him. As you can see now, he happily greets us every morning and will gently take treats from your hand! Pancake would make a wonderful addition to your family and he is great with kids too! Last week, Ciao and Bonjour were part of a humane case, having been abandoned in a farmhouse and discovered by the landlord after being on their own. They are so affectionate, social and have the most amazing tabby markings! Today they were able to explore the catio and had a blast! They are currently pending spay/neuter but we are accepting applications now. What an amazing week of adoptions! Kitties Pepe, Orange, Moscato, Boxty, Mallow, Cadbury, Sage, Cheddar, Soda and Mandarin all found their furever homes. Pups Hope, Annaliese, Sprite, Erika, Pom, Thumper, Mufasa, Pork Chop, Mercy, Lilly and Puffin also hippity hopped into homes. Can we beat 21 adoptions next week? April Volunteer of the Month!

A HUGE congratulations and thank you to our two volunteers of the month!! Jennifer and Jacob are our dynamic duo that join us every Saturday. While Jennifer is out walking dogs, her son Jacob is enjoying the kitties and helping direct potential adopters to their purrrrfect match! In addition to all they currently do, Jennifer is also one of our Glenbeigh volunteers, which is a new program where shelter animals spend a day with patients at Glenbeigh to give everyone some much needed enrichment! We are so thankful for all that they do, and appreciate them more than words can describe! Thank you Jennifer and Jacob!!

Slowly making progress, Roosevelt learning how to walk on a leash! He loves his spray cheese, which is a great incentive for the learning to tolerate his leash! Thank you for all the generous donations—thanks to you these pups are improving everyday!
