Today we had the opportunity to work with a local rescue and help a client and her cat. The kitty had an infected uterus and needed emergency surgery performed today. We work a lot with Maddox and friends cat rescue so we reached out; and between us and them, we were able to get the life saving surgery and get the kitty home with her mama! A lot of times our jobs are hard. Sometimes it seems like as much as we try, we just can’t do enough. But, today we were able to save a life and this is what we are here for. We can’t thank Maddox and friends enough for their help with this, kitty and her mama are feeling much better and headed home! It’s days like today that make up for the sad ones and we are so happy to have been able to help 💕💪

Fresh vegetables are a great addition to your pet's diet. But there are some you should never feed your pet including onions or garlic as they are toxic in all forms: cooked, raw, and even onion powder.

These cause damage to the red blood cells, which could cause them to burst. Toxins can also be found in rhubarb and wild mushrooms. Corn is also a common allergen among pets so you might want to avoid it as well.
