LUNA MAE TURNER
December 17, 2025
Luna Mae has been a part of Alyssa’s family for the past three years. She came up to their porch one night and they have been inseparable since. Luna was always looking for cuddles or her favorite treats. Luna had the most unique meow and the prettiest blue eyes.
One of Alyssa’s favorite memories is when she would play with chalk while Luna sunbathed beside her. Luna improved her life and gave her a reason to be whole again. If she could tell her one more thing, she would tell Luna she is loved more than she knows. She will always keep her memory alive. Thank you, Luna, for always filling their lives with joy.

BANDIT KELLY
October 22, 2011 – November 21, 2025
Born near Cincinnati, OH in 2011, Bandit Kelly (aka B, Bieber, Bieb’s, Buddy, Puppers) passed away peacefully in Jefferson, OH on November 21st at the age of 14. Bandit grew up in Columbus, OH after adopting a recovering journalist/photographer named Michael when (Bandit) was four months old. Graduating from the exclusive Chris Ricevuto Behavioral Academy at the young age of one-and-a-half, Bandit studied under the watchful nose of famed German (Shepherd) instructor Lola and became a "Find-It” champion. The experience shaped a personality that helped him rise in the ranks as a four-legged hotelier under the guidance of uncle/mentor John Raphael.

Work took the inseparable duo to New Orleans-Phoenix and back to Columbus again - often living at full-service hotel properties where Michael was assigned. Bandit’s was spoiled and loved by many team members, many along the way follow his Instagram handle “Hospitality Husky”. His favorite time was visiting EVERYBODY and ordering room service sampling bacon, or chicken and chasing tennis balls in empty ballrooms at night. He was also a regular at the Howlin’ Wolf Cafe (New Orleans), feasting on free ice cubes from the bartenders. His fur also doubled as nesting for many thieving birds who dive-bombed his tail while walking along Convention Center Blvd.

After leaving the hotel industry when he was six, Bandit returned with Michael to his media roots at a small radio station In Lorain County where he spent many hours in studio covering elections and often joined live programming. Trained in public etiquette, Bandit was able to re-discover his instincts to howl and sing. Most notably to themes for Law & Order SVU, Family Guy and Billy Joel’s “Piano Man”.

While in Lorain County, they briefly lived on a horse farm where Bandit took up (mini) horse racing in the arena and quickly made friends with all of the full-size residents. For three years, friend and Wellington-based realtor Lary Jameyson introduced Bandit to the perfect small town to bike, walk & run in Oberlin with many caring neighbors. A baseball fan, Bandit also moonlighted at minor league stadiums in Avon, Columbus and Florence, KY.

An avid athlete, Bandit enjoyed playing in packs with the other huskies at Columbus’ Alum Creek Dog Park, biking the street car lines of New Orleans, jogging along the Mississippi River, hiking the pet-friendly North Mountain in Phoenix, spending six hours at day care and riding in his Jeep with the top down and doors off, as well as looking at himself in mirrors. Bandit also enjoyed camping with the part-husky sisters S’mores & Marshmallow - Uncle Alden, Aunt Hil and Amari Udell, who also cared for him when dad was out of town. There were so many wonderful people who looked out for him over the years.

Late in life, beset by arthritis and injuries to his back, Bandit still enjoyed playing in snow, raising chickens in Southern Ashtabula County and managing a Hometown Auto Parts store. Big thank you to his friends at non-profit Joey’s Paw in Butler, PA for providing a wheelchair and specialized harnesses to assist in his mobility!! Same goes to his uncle, Rick Furman, for that last golf cart ride around Jefferson and to the fairgrounds to see the horses one last time!

Bandit was preceded in death by his little, big sister Bella. Half-brother Piper. Uncle’s Chase & Shaq and Grandma Kelly who thought he was the sweetest, well-behaved boy. Bandit also walked alongside Uncle T-Rail, passing away within days of each other.

Survivors include Michael (who sure misses his buddy), Granny, Datz, Aunt Jenny, his boy TJ, his girls Taylor and Tyrah who played the best hide and seek - and Molly, Granny’s dachshund who still hides bones (in case he comes over).

To honor Bandit’s memory, donations can be made to: Joey’s Paw, 301 Belmont Road, Butler, PA 16001.

You can also send unopened packages of hot dogs to Village of Gibsonburg, OH, c/o Marc & Pam Glotzbecker, to be re-distributed to nearby animal shelters. (They once gave Bandit so many hot dogs he pooped for days!!!!) I told you people loved him and spoiled him.)

GILLY GEORGE

July 24, 2014 – December 16, 2025

Gilly was one of the sweetest, friendliest cats. He had to be indoors only because he started to wander around the neighborhood and there were coyotes in the area. Gilly’s family had to keep him safe. Being indoors only did not seem to bother him. He would sit at the windows and watch the birds and get all excited about seeing them. His favorite toys were his own tail and a circular scratch pad with a tennis ball in a track.
Gilly went through a lot in his last months. He never reacted badly to anything that was done to him, whether it was surgery or days in the hospital. He was always just glad to get home. Home will not be the same without him there. Gilly will be missed by Gail.

JAX DAVIS

November 21, 2009 – December 11, 2025

Jax was a Shih-Tzu/Chihuahua and Jax was a Christmas present for Jimmy and their granddaughter, Isabel. Jax went trucking for three years and he traveled to 48 states. He has walked on every beach from West, East, and Southern Coasts of the US. Jax has been to casinos in Las Vegas and flown on airplanes.
After three years, he retired from trucking and stayed home. He barked like crazy when they left the house but loved it when they came back home. If you were sick, he would lay and stay right with you until you were feeling better. After moving to Ashtabula four years ago, Jax adjusted very well to their new home. Jax enjoyed laying in the sun and by the pool and sometimes would float on a raft, just for a few minutes. He loved to travel back to West Virginia to see family and friends. He was a wonderful traveler. Jax had the life of a king, and he will be missed every day.

PARKER KRENGULEC

January 29, 2020 – December 1, 2025

Parker was such a goofy, happy puppers. He loved playing in sprinklers, getting sprayed with water guns and playing with the hose. He also loved stuffed toys. When at the beach, he would bark at the waves coming at him, digging holes in the sand then spinning around the hole he dug, before digging some more.
Parker’s family miss him terribly. He put up a good fight against his lymphoma. He had amazing people to treat him and love him.

MADDY MAE VANLOOCKE
November 4, 2013 – December 8, 2025
Maddy Loved playing in the snow. But most of all she loved her daddy. She loved her brothers Remmy and Henry, and she was always the boss. Maddy’s favorite toy was a tennis ball.
Maddy used to love to go swimming in the family pond. Maddy would always let you know when it was five o’clock and time for her dinner. She would bark until you filled her dish. Maddy was a master at stealing loaves of bread and soft taco shells. Maddy will be missed by her family.

JACKSON (NATHANIEL) BUBBY

February 12, 2012 – November 21, 2025

Jax was a German Shepherd Lab mix, and he was the sweetest dog ever. He loved everyone and he loved his human sisters, Bella and Brooke the most. He loved to lay on the floor and chew on his favorite bone, and he loved going outside and playing with his toys. His favorite toys were his duck and platypus. He also had a lot of nicknames.
His most favorite holiday was Christmas Eve, and he always knew he was going to get gifts from everyone. He loved holiday dinners also. He would always greet his daddy when he came home from work, and he loved his nightly walk in the back yard. He loved his mom and dad, and they miss him so very much.

DEXTER ANDERSON/PAE

October 10, 2017 – November 22, 2025

Dexter was adopted on January 6, 2018. From the very beginning and for his entire life, he was loyal, loving, full of energy and so silly. If he was awake, he was usually wagging his tail, unless it was bath time or he had to go outside when it was raining. However, he loved swimming and running through the puddles. He was in his glory every time he found mud to play in. He liked nearly every treat he was offered, but he had a special liking for fruits, especially mangos, raspberries and strawberries.

Dexter looked forward to meeting people in his neighborhood when he was in his yard. When he saw someone walking, he’d hurry to sit down right in the middle of the sidewalk, so they had to acknowledge him. This usually worked and he received a lot of attention this way. Sometimes people walked around him, but he probably didn’t mind because he knew that meant mom would give him some extra treats. He looked for the mailman each day, who went out of his way to pet Dexter even on days he had no mail for them.

On Saturdays as soon as Dexter woke up, he patiently sat at the door waiting for his Mimi to visit. He was sure she was coming solely to see him.

Most of all, Dexter enjoyed being with his family. He greeted everyone with a high-pitched scream of excitement. He was at his happiest while cuddling under a blanket and receiving armpit rubs.

Dexter is incredibly missed by his parents and brother but will always be cherished for the joy and love he gave them. They find peace in believing his big sister, Maureen met him at the Bridge, and they can run and play together again.

BELLA MARIE LAMB

April 30, 2012 – December 6, 2025

Bella had a personality and temperament bigger than herself. She was the boss, the hunter, the leader of the pack with only eleven pounds. She would let you know when you were allowed to pet her, and everything had to be her way and no other way. There was no animal that she did not chase and every summer she fought a skunk and she would win.

Bella is survived by her human parents Marsha and Nick Lamb; her human siblings Emmett, Jayni, Novah, KayKay and Kata; her fur siblings Spot and Bubbles, and her farm siblings Ham, Bacon, Cinnamon, Buttercup, Reggie, Pickles, Luigi, Princess Peach, Bowezer, Phil (the turkey), The Golden Girls and the chickens.

MADORI “DORI” MERRITT
December 2, 2025
Dori, a green Iguana, was eight years old. She was very loving and mischievous. She loved cuddles and head rubs. She loved basking in the sun on her window perch. Her perch was her favorite.
Bananas were her favorite treat. Keeping her out of the dog’s food was a full-time job. She loved to explore the house. It was like a game of hide and seek finding her. Dori will be missed by Veronica.

In memory of Kouper who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge November 18, 2025. Our sympathies go out to Jessie Caskey and Sara Braner. It was an honor to be asked to care for your baby during this difficult time.

KOUPER CASKEY/BRANER
August 2014 – November 18, 2025
Jessie got Kouper at a tiny eight weeks old. He was so small, he fit in her pocket. He was her very first dog/pet after moving out of her childhood home and away from her family. Needless to say, he became her family very quickly. He was her shot gun rider, and Jessie took him everywhere she could when she could. It was Koup and Jessie against the world. She knew she was safe as long as he was near.
He loved walks and car rides, so much so he made it his life’s mission to dart out the door and play his favorite game…come and get me. Every single time she would be so scared and devastated, but it was truly a game to him. He loved his people brother and sister so much and would follow his brother around everywhere.
When Sara joined their family, he fell in love with her too. It was like he knew that now he had two moms to smother him in love. When Kouper was three years old, they got him a dog brother, Rosko. They were best friends and were truly inseparable. Rosko passed one month before Kouper. It was like Kouper needed his brother in order to keep fighting and once he was gone, Kouper gave up on the fight.
They had 11 beautiful years with their sweet old man. Jessie said she believes that if love could have saved him, he would have lived forever. But she knows that Kouper is at the Rainbow Bridge with Rosko waiting for them to get there.
