As it turns out the world had other plans for our beautiful Covergirls foal. She foaled early Wednesday morning but her little foal was born still. I wasn’t going to share this but so many have been asking of her and if she has foaled.

Very sad for our girl and her beautiful foal, and heartbreaking for me, sometimes you can do absolutely everything right and to try and keep your animals safe and healthy and nature has other plans. It shouldn’t be something we can’t speak of, the losses. We hope they never happen but sometimes it just for reasons we don’t know. Covergirl is doing ok though and that’s the main thing now.
