Dog Speak specializes in low stress, behavior based grooming and we truly treat your pet like family. On site we have 3 groomers, owner Amanda McKane, Mary Miller and Becca Capitano. Each groomer holds multiple certifications in grooming as well as CPR and Pet Tech for Pet First Aid for the proper safety and care of your beloved pet. There are years of experience between the 3 groomers and pet gro

We are all committed to taking continuing education courses regularly to learn the newest techniques in grooming and to add to our knowledge base. Amanda McKane is a skin and coat specialist who has the knowledge to help with any skin and coat difficulty your pet may have. We take the time to groom your pets with patience, kindness and respect. We have the knowledge and commitment to assure your pets never have reason to be fearful while in our salon. Our clients are worth the effort!

Often pet owners are scared of the short hair cuts. Don't Be! If brushing is hard or time is tight there is no shame in going with a short clip! Owner Amanda is going to be undergoing carpal tunnel surgery soon. To prevent matting while she can't be brushing Bastian is sporting a "Miami" it's a classic low maintenance poodle trim. Just because he is short does not mean he can't have some style!

Our sweet buddy Yoder got to the salon a bit early for his appointment today. Since he is the first appointment of the day and no other dogs are here he gets to have free run of the salon. Grooming is so routine for him that this sweet boy chooses to wait on a grooming table! This is why it is so important to make grooming a normal part of life for your pup! We want them happy and comfortable while they spend time with us ♡

We just spent the most amazing 4 days in Hershey PA at the Hershey Groom Expo! It was truly amazing! We spent time with friends in the industry, took classes to remain current on all the latest and greatest products and techniques, and just had fun!

Today was a beautiful day! We were honored to have groomers gather to continue their education in dog handling! Difficult dogs, senior dogs, and even using little to no restraints! We were so excited to have groomers from Happy Hounds, Simple cuts pet grooming, Dawn Gillian from Mayville, and Dara Bowen from Westfield! It is so wonderful to be part of a local professional community that is all about supporting each other in our profession!
