My favorite part of making treats for my dogs and yours are the incredibly fresh ingredients I use. These gorgeous berries are from a batch of Otis’ Oaties. You can see the berry bits in the baked treats.
I started this business because I was making these kinds of goodies for my dogs and wanted to share that kind of healthy yumminess with every dog I can reach!

Baking today. Working on a restock for bundle for and working on treat bags for an auction basket for ice show! The Very Good Dogs are hoping there are batches with just enough left over for them but not quite enough to fill a full bag 🤣

Back to baking Very Good Dog treats! My poor pups are pretty much out of treats even though their mama founded and runs a dog treat company! 🤦‍♀️😂 fixing that today. The first batch of 2023 and my 2nd year of doing this, goes to my bebes.

I bring my dogs to work! We’ve been baking nonstop. Our stock is building up and we are pumped because only FOUR more days until we attend our first winter market! On food prep days, one watches the bowl and one watches me! Canine Teamwork 🤣
Fun fact: that giant bowl (its the biggest mixing bowl I own and I pretty much only use it for mixing dog food because I never need to make as large of a batch of anything else) will probably be gone by Tuesday. These two eat so much! On average I make a new batch of food every two days.

Very excited to share that I’m currently working on a certificate from Duke in Dog Emotion and Cognition. The professor is Brian Hare who started the Dog Cognition Lab at Duke and also wrote (with his wife) one of my favorite books on dogs: The Genius of Dogs
I can’t wait to apply what I’ve learned with my dogs and my company!

Like all those fresh dog food ads but doing it myself (for nearly TWO years now!)
